Dudes, sry 1 question, I jz registered wif tmnet for the unify service yesterday and i as i recall they did say they will send me something to my email address. I havent received it yet, is there anything important on that email that i should know?

oh damn, hw long did they take to send it to you. I registered yesterday but i requested for an appointment on october 1st.

Sry can someone pls help me out here, how long did they take to send the email to you after you registered for unify. I asked this above but sry I really need the answer today so that i can call them up and rectify it before they close today at 6.30pm as im not gona be around for the next few weeks.

Yes they did, they called me yesterday after i registered. Got my appointment date and house number. But i didnt receive any email about it or the password for the account. So im now worried that the email address i wrong. Ahhh damn my paranoia . Im gona b busy for the next few weeks, i think i shud call them up and double check jz to make sure.

wah thats really bad.

Using the TM net DIR 615 G2 router with the 7.05B firmware. Works ok for first few days then starts giving wireless drops even frm range of 10m away. Called TM, they came and change the router to a new 1, better than before but still no hope if under internet heavy load at distances further than 10m.

So I thought of using my 3year++ linkys wrt300n V1 router but i duno hw configure vlan taggin on it. Any1 know hw to do it??? Anyway, so i decided to go with using the DIR 615 as a bridge and connect my router to it. So far so good.

Conclusion, tmnet routers are not stable either because of its custom firmware or this D-Link models arent as good.

Thanks but i already bridge the tmnet router to my own router. Its jz i duno hw configure my router to the fibre unit straight (on the athena website it says to do some vlan tagging beforehand which I dont know whether its do-able in my linksys router) . I know i cant access the iptv but i dont nid it. Oh well, i want to check out the linksys E3000 high performance router but its not available in Mly i guess and i dont want to order online, get it only to realise i dont know how to configure it.
