Hey guys a friend of mind reset the BTU and now he can't connect to the internet. Any guide on how to configure the BTU?
*
Your friend using the Huawei BTU?
If is using Huawei BTU, the BTU's ip is 192.168.100.1. Just set his pc/laptop ip to 192.168.100.2 will do.. and the username & password should be telekomadmin & admintelekom.
As for how to configure... maybe riz or other sifu here will be able to help...
Btw, why your friend reset the BTU?? hmm.gif

Added on November 2, 2010, 8:05 pmany of u guys arent a bit worried when they impose the download limit ? anybody wanna do up a petition to go against this before they actually impose it ???? any ideas ??
*
I don't really mind if TM really impose the bandwidth cap.. this is to ensure the quality of the internet service... as long as they don't throttle the download speed as what they did to streamyx user... I'm fine... smile.gif
but this is only my view la....

Guys, take note of this.

TM is finally getting their act together, and will begin plugging the security holes soon.

should those who use microtik switch or router put the TM DIR615 back in order for TM to role out the security patch??? hmm.gif

I paid my 1st bill via the unifi portal by using cc... after 2 days... the status still showing outstanding balance in the portal... then i called the unifi helpline... they checked and updated it.. but the payment date that show in portal is the day when i called them....
I guess their portal is still not fully functioning yet... 'cause need to manually update the payment instead of automatic...

I have a quick question, I recently applied for unifi and due for installation on 28/11. I have an existing streamyx / phone line under my wife's name.

Do I need to terminate this service at TMPoint or it will be automatic (since my address is now tied to unifi)?
*
You have to go to TM Point to make the cancellation of your streamyx and home line.

It has been quite sometime didn't access this forum since my RB750 been running perfectly so far, hope I didn't miss out any interesting topics  tongue.gif

Anywhere, just an update that soon there will be a replacement for DIR-615 on retail market!  brows.gif

Recently by chance I met the TP-Link MY+SG sales manager, we talk a bit on routers and when we talk about UniFi topic (especially on the DIR-615 problem), he immediately offer to pass me a beta test unit TL-841ND
http://www.tp-link.com/products/productDet...odel=TL-WR841ND

They have actually customised a special firmware for UniFi to have both vlan.500 & 600 tagging on it, my initial test on my 5MB Huawei BTU seem to be very encouraging:

[attachmentid=1898020]
[attachmentid=1898021]

I have yet to test out IPTV and WiFi, so far it seem like I'm the only end-user to test out the unit, been busy lately .... sweat.gif
Since I'm not that technical enough, would really appreciate any sifu here can let me know on what else need to be tested, telnet to check or whatever need to be improved on the firmware.  TP-Link developer has committed to work & support all the way, their main purpose is to allow consumers to have flexibility in choosing/replacing UniFi routers.  nod.gif

According to him, once the beta firmware tested & confirmed ok, they will release it on their official website solely for Malaysia UniFi users.
Later users can either buy the product and update the firmware, they may also release a pre-pack package for UniFi Malaysia. rclxms.gif
*
Is there any possibility that they will release the firmware for other TP-Link router ie TL-WR1043ND?

i have try to pay my unifi bill using cc from the occ.

but then have an error payment gateway processing error.

what does this means? shuld i try again to make the payment?

sked later double charge me.
*
Are you behind any firewall? If yes, try to disable your firewall and try again.
I encounter the same thing, but after i disable my firewall... it went through...

They won't double charge you, since your connection unable to reach the merchant's bank gateway...
