Sigh, 3 days without Unifi... Technician says will come to have a look.

Wonder if I can write to TM to claim for rebate? I am paying RM200 + per month for this service and 3 days is about RM20 ....

Yes you can. Ask them for it. They will take their time though...

Seems some ip will get slow connection for certain time in 1 day..., normally after 12 a.m, the connection drop to 2 or 3Mb from ori 5 Mb

Added on November 20, 2010, 5:11 ambtw, just tried to flash My Router to DD-WRT

not GOOD!!!, the QoS setting and another set up is not flexible enough compared to the stock fw for me...

Re-flash back to stock firmware..., i luv it... hahaha

Just wanna ask all the sifus here,

Does Unifi's capped include web surfing? and also If I surpass the capped, will they just drop my speed or I even have to pay extra money? Cause just now I went TMpoint, they person told me, after capped need pay extra rclxub.gif

just installed my vip 5 a few hours ago. download is around 5 upload around 6. am near ttdi area in apartment.

only issue so far is the wireless signal to my room (router is in the hall) drops even though signal strength shows 4 bar.

am going to get the aztech wl556 wireless repeater / extender when available at end of nov when stock is available &see if that helps.

does anyone face this problem?
my friend just installed UniFi yesterday so i went over to his house to make a download test,
the speed is fast, close to 700kb/s but its very unstable. it keeps dropping and increasing. such as 680 500 200 450 600 100 30 20 500... kinda like that.
he stays in a condo and his router is just 4 feet away , no walls.

My unifi just fixed. Complex problem! The installer linked the unifi port to tmline that was active for streamyx. When the homelike was disconnected, the unifi port went dead! The techician has to decouple the dead homeline from unifi and linked it directly to standalone unifi port. Don't realy understand how he did it but I appreciate his effort to come over on Saturday and he seems to know what's he's doing.

hi guys, the technician just installed UniFi router at my home..and from the form that I have to fill in, it says that my monthly subscription is RM189. but Im only subscribe to the 5MB plan (RM149). is it because they include the installation free ? .. and the installation fee is RM200 right?
