hey guys some newbie questions here,

1, if i use vip5, after 60gb limit, wat happen ?
tat iptv data calculate into that 60gb ?

2, wikipedie there show iptv channel include syfy channel and some others, but unifi website didn't ? which correct,

3, i don hav hdtv ,  pc monitor use dvi, but i got 1 dvi hdmi converter <-- is this useful or wat shud i do !  thx

4, if i subscribe now, i only hav to paid rm200 and those montly fees?

5, unifi got throttle bt or p2p ?

6, unifi rm149 5mbps +iptv  & 60gb limit
    streamyx blockbuster  rm140 4mbps & no limit
is this the only major differences ?

"switch" from vip5 to biz5 IS without penalty. but it is a one way trip with 2 years tie up.

the problem is, is it worth the $$ vs risk of getting a "unlimited cap"?

to fully utilize 5mbps the dlink router is sure not enough. if you wanna BT.
U need a router capable of handling 100,000 connections without dropping any of it. (and custom traffic shape yourself. if you do well in theory you can play MMORPG while heavy P2P with no lag.)
I opted for a ATOM based pfsense and waiting unifi at my place.

but i was thinking should i go 4mbps instead...

1) no IPTV data is not counted....and once u reach the limit, the speed drops, but by how much we dont know..

2) does not matter...all packages now must buy channels instead..

4) depends on ur package, but i am not sure what other fees they have inside.

5) tak tau..some say got, some say dun have..

6) lower latency, possible upgrades to better speeds, higher upload rate on fiber..but compare packages, then yes..those are some of the differences..

Today the installation at my aunt's house did not success due to the length from the unifi box to the house is about 500m..Therefore they can't install scared signal loss..So stupid, confidently tell us that the area is fully covered then just now tell me need to wait for a while so they can install the box at the nearest pole to the house..I guess it's gonna take some time for them..Even the old no port for streamyx has been taken for ages..I mean years..Just wasting my time..Any idea where i can vend my frustration??If there's any TM staffs or management that can assist me do pm..Thank you..

when the tm guy come to install, coz i dont have a tv or hdmi lcd .so they didt install for me .
today i just buy samsung hdmi lcd monitor, when i on it , loading picture is ok when go in to menu it come out

During the installation of my Unifi, at first my iptv also come out like yours i.e. it had some colour distortions at the top of the screen. Some tv channels also like that, some dont have image at all. Only the tv menu/grid is okay.

To solve this, the Unifi installer had to call the iptv centre several times and they had to do something at the back-end / iptv server to correct the error. I suggest you call Unifi centre or call your installer again and highlight this issue to them. They should be able to fix it.
