No for HDMI convert to DVI monitor. Might work if your LCD has HDMI in or component in.

hi all,
just wanted to know if you guys exp the same symptom that I'm facing now.
i'm a VIP 5 user. recently, i noticed i cant surf the internet via wireless connection to the TM Dlink 615 G1. LAN connection seems fine.
i've restarted the Dlink router couple of times (incl. unplugged/replug the power cable), changed my wireless channel, followed the 'Wifi bug' steps from rizvanrp website, using fixed IP instead of DHCP, etc. - all seems no to avail.
i've logged a report to TM support and waiting for their reply.
again, LAN connection seems fine. do you think this warrant for a router replacement or should i just get a Microtik switch and use my own wireless router?

thanks for your reply.

If you already have your own wireless router, try using rizvanrp guide on "Custom router", ie using bridge, no need to get Microtik switch.

Hey guys a friend of mind reset the BTU and now he can't connect to the internet. Any guide on how to configure the BTU?
*
Your friend using the Huawei BTU?
If is using Huawei BTU, the BTU's ip is 192.168.100.1. Just set his pc/laptop ip to 192.168.100.2 will do.. and the username & password should be telekomadmin & admintelekom.
As for how to configure... maybe riz or other sifu here will be able to help...
Btw, why your friend reset the BTU?? hmm.gif

*
I don't really mind if TM really impose the bandwidth cap.. this is to ensure the quality of the internet service... as long as they don't throttle the download speed as what they did to streamyx user... I'm fine... smile.gif
but this is only my view la....

If anyone has any problems with configuring and setting up their Unifi, please refer to Rizvanrp's guides at his website unifi.athena.my

There are more resources in the front page posted by calvin.

I agree as well. When there is limited bandwidth, having a cap is responsible network management. They just better make sure they don't throttle users and give them their money's worth in speed.

They should ditch IPTV to make the package cheaper/more affordable.

well they have "Data" only package.. which is the biz...

i would prefer they throw away the iptv and give us like 10mbps with 3mbps international at abt 100 bux..

actually whether or not they ditch the IPTV would make no difference in the price...especially since IPTV is going to be one of their side income source...
plus the government has been pushing for a more wider range of services over broadband..

Yeah, it works fine.
Just connect using the bundled HDMI cable.

I'm on VIP20 package but my switch is running at only 10Mbps.
Gigabit switch with Gigabit NIC, AMP Cat6 cable, but running at 10Mbps.
Ouch.
Need to fix it soon.

Haha, since you installed Unifi, why you still wanted to ask this question? Just try yourself! and get an answer.
Restart your router or reconnect. Anyway VIP is dynamic IP, BIZ is static IP

hey guys some newbie questions here,

1, if i use vip5, after 60gb limit, wat happen ?
tat iptv data calculate into that 60gb ?

2, wikipedie there show iptv channel include syfy channel and some others, but unifi website didn't ? which correct,

3, i don hav hdtv , pc monitor use dvi, but i got 1 dvi hdmi converter <-- is this useful or wat shud i do ! thx

4, if i subscribe now, i only hav to paid rm200 and those montly fees?

5, unifi got throttle bt or p2p ?

6, unifi rm149 5mbps +iptv & 60gb limit
streamyx blockbuster rm140 4mbps & no limit
is this the only major differences ?

thx ALL handsome & pretty !
