Hi Bros,

I've checked in Courts in Nusa Bestari JB, and they are selling at RM499. Only display set available.

Guess i'm a little bit too late

Just realised that this player only comes with 1 HDMI output.... Which means I've to use optical cable to connect to home theatre?

Meaning I won't get Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD?

Correct me if I'm wrong.....

Use the HDMI to connect to yr home theatre. Then from AVR to yr TV.

How is the quality of the picture then? Not as good as HDMI I believe. But is the difference very significant?

If you got a good AVR then it is OK or could be better also. If not you can just set Passthrough. No significant difference found.

HDMI all the way so it is OK.

Doriofoo & braveheart,

Thank you for the confirmation..... I was mistaken.... I got confused with AVR being the composite wires.... Hahahahahah... Now I know AVR means av Receiver...

Hope Sifus here can help me!

I tried to update the firmware but was unsuccessful on a few attempts.
I've tried all possible way there is, but to no avail.

My BD player is connected to LAN. When I try to update, the screen shows "connecting to server" then suddenly goes back to the menu screen. I'm sure it is not connection problem as I can access the Internet tv fine. I watched a few YouTube clips without any problem.

I also tried both USB flash drive and WD My Passport. I know I can't use portable hard drive but what the heck... I can open and watch movies stored in both Flash drive and hard drive. But I can't find USB option on the firmware update screen. Instead it shows wired(when LAN is connected and disconnected).

Tried burning the file to DVD, same thing happen. Can't even access the disc!

Anyone has had this problem?!
