heya guys, im planning to get a bluray player soon. still wondering which model to buy. is this model can play 'ahem' bluray without a problem? coz my usual ahem seller told me that samsung bluray player can't really play all of 'ahem' bluray disc. some movies cannot play.
he told me that the best bluray player is philips, the one he's having in his shop. can play all 'ahem' bluray without problem. is this true?
where to buy this player for RM399? which shop?
last but not least, this player is a Profile 2.0 (BD-Live) rite?
thanks

I see. Cool cool.. So with Samsung, i can hook up an external hard disk and play my media files with it?
I was thinking to get a WDTV Live. If Samsung can do play my media files via external hard disk, that is consider great! It can play all format without problem? How about those huge 1080p movie files, smooth play?

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Jan 30 2011, 10:05 AM) Yalo nothing is perfect. I get my Sony BD-S370 at RM 499.00 yup.. true. both has its own pros and cons. by the way, i saw in the official Samsung website about this player: HDMI® (V.1.4 with 3D) With their HDMI® (V.1.4 with 3D) connection, Samsung Blu-ray Home Theatre Systems are capable of transmitting the highest resolution digital data in pure, uncompressed streams. This upgraded feature ensures that future-forward technology, such as 3D Full HD movies and games, can be expressed with purity and precision. http://www.samsung.com/hk_en/consumer/tv-a...ail&tab=featureif i read it correctly, 3D supports coming soon?
