how much do you think you can gain from OCing that 5570? a low performance graphic card after OCing is still low performance graphic card.

10-15fps? If that's the case no one would bother buying mid range cards smile.gif

my earlier comment was based on my experience.

I used to OC GCs, every GC i get will be OCed. I still do GC OC but I spend less time on them, and often just the initial stages during testing.

I couldn't be bothered to spend time on it, boosting 100mhz - 200mhz (core / mem shader) is offers little performance boost. 10-15 fps boost is too huge a gain, nowadays OCing i find i get like ~3fps most often. if' it's 18fps to 21fps then it's pointless. if it's already above 45 fps average most of the time then additional frames is just purely feel good, at least to me it is.

btw that link was to just add the nail to the coffin. smile.gif

*oh and to add, that's not to say 5 - 10 fps boost isn't impossible, if you're really into it you could get it but depends on the card. You see that cards like GTX 470 can get quite some boost but that also depends on how far you push it, what details of the game and even what game engine is running. balblablablabla. like what i mentioned earlier, pusing 18fps to 25fps is pointless since average at 25 mean you'll face lag quite often. upping 45 fps to 55 fps would be pointless to since it's going to be fast most of the time.

The fan doesn't draw a lot of power and running it at 100% would keep your temps slightly lower but in return, it might be noisy.

just keep in mind that EVERY single component on your computer will have lifespan reduced as long as you're using them.
