@Wensiang FF battle system is kind of flexible and different to normal battle system.

It's not just based on player's stat solely.

One thing challenging about FF system is that it is also dependable on mob stat and the resistance it's naturally designed with.

Also if ur fighting a mob harder then ur lv it will also penalize ur stat alot.

You mean during battle?

I think most ppl like me voted mysidia before the unofficial announcement of which server for which region. Now Im 50-50 going to Mysidia or not. But Going to Gyshal is a good idea too (how to say it? Gay shall?).

aldgoat nanny so tough to solo ..i wonder what level for mage clas to solo them

from my ffxi experience, meeting the right peoples and right ls was an important factor whether you will gonna enjoy the game in long term or not.

and ya.. it does take very long time for the bond to grow.. not like it happen in one day or months.

we take friendship in priority over the rest, secondly just gonna enjoy as much as we can in games.. even the grass n flower ww...

i seen way too much rise & fall in every major ls, so i know a little two bit on what every ls need & had experience leading a big ls, so i'm not really worry too much. a successful ls.. take a lot of patient and times to nurture it. it's like planting a seed.. : p

i know but is kinda lame they make ur TP skill accuracy lower than ur normal hit..
my normal hit dont miss as much as TP skill lo..gay...we suppose to depend on TP skill to save our asses!

this is why you need with equip with " acc+ " to make your weapon skill hit.

and i seriously doubt, ffxiv are make for solo-ing, eventually we will force to be group.. for quest, leve and instance boss.

if really want to play a mmo with solo purpose in mind, i really suggest people play wow instead.. ^^

i don't play much in open beta becoz... just simply put, waste time. i simply explore area, area good to lvl up, and all the boring mechanic. w

we not yet see the AF for the each class.. w and not sure whether there will be AF at all.

i really dunno why people are playing so much in open beta, just don't make any sense.. just cap at 30, and not all area are open yet.. and with the awesome ui.. -..- w

lol... i dont have Tp skill that has multiple attack..i wish for 1..it seems i miss the mnk raging fist n asuran fist......how come pugillist dont have such skill........

this is why people use system such as DKP...

fair & square... you earn point you get item.. A player with 5 point compete with B player 5 point. A & B lot.. A win the lot, B will get it the next time or.. C is the highest person with point.. C will lot that item he want to buy..

it's not who get to lot by saying who should get.. when the loot everyone will have to follow the rules.

edit: DKP is like the best system for mmo loot system. we're still experiencing.. so we might alter the loot system.. in future depends on the FFXIV end-game. now way too early to tell and were only cap at lvl50 ww.. 50? serious w..

Huh, play WoW? Are you kidding? even play WoW you need to team up with ppl to do instance or to do group quest. All the God gear are from instance or doing together with other ppl.

SE already said FFXIV can play Solo and for Casual player. But you are encourage to PT or etc. But of course if you just solo from start to end, you cannot get good gears or god gear that you can proud/show off. Leveling will be slow, but still soloable.

Solo my dancer 1 to 60, white mage 37 to 60, Monk 60 to 75 in FFXI XD soloable lol

the reason im quoting this because of your opinion regarding to discussing it with gameaxis s'poreans.. hence the PERSONAL OPINION.. guilds or ls is just a matter of an example to be shared of, means that no matter where u go, whoever u choose to play, even though u're a neighbour there always a chance to be like that.. just like juine said.. it takes long to grow.. so my opinion is rather than go for a big nation might aswell focus on small community first, which is in this case is LYN community.. form there we can introduce friend of a friend and so on.. u cant run away from japanese (i know this is not what u mean), there are everywhere, its their game anyway.. there are always be language barrier... "masuk kandang kambing mengembek, masuk kandang harimau mengaum" if u understand what that means.. what important is focus on our unity first.. even we're in the vast sea of foreign language, if we have friends (nakama) with us, we'll survive..

regarding these server choose issue, i'd say u guys just follow the path u prefer to.. some ppl are just prefer to walk in with the same language and know each other afterwards.. some ppl (like me) prefer to gather friends from real life and start the journey, coz i know i wont be making friends inside.. im just not that into cyber life.. im just enjoying the way it is with my rl friends.. tepuk dada tanya selera .. what i can see is we're currently split into 3 groups, mysidia (those who follow juine group), gysahl (those who follow majority of s'poreans/asians), and maybe besaid (those who follow shojikun group).. i'd say, just follow what u think is right.. i have 3 friends waiting at mysidia, unless they want to change server.. and currently i join juine ls.. so i have 2 reasons to stay in mysidia
