IMHO it's SE's way to do things. Somehow JP has a different approach to online games = =. I'm fine w/ stick to 1 server while migration still applicable.

In Istory, just in my LS already reached at least 100 asian members(mostly TW), which LS leader requested other to create another LS just to occupy the remaining players which haven't include some HK players. @_@

btw, can you type Chinese inside the game?

our ls will play in mysidia.

didn't play open beta for very long time.. wwww now just wanna amass my profit from online poker.. to cover my mortage, loan, entertainment & ffxiv all expenses for at least 1 year ^^ w

my current concern is whether the open beta client were able to use as retail but highly doubt so, since my ffxiv copies will send to NA fren's address..

it will be nice if the open beta client could use for live, not need waste time to download from usenet at launch >_<

You can type chinese(a TW programmer did 1 which works great) but some characters are unable to display since they pull from the JP char base. The TW players are all aware that they're not allow to type chinese in open public/party, just in LS since they don't wanna give bad impression to JP players to think they're those China RMT/got report then got banned.

umm me and couple frens playtime, weekdays around 10pm-12am people will start to pop until the next day 3-4pm. this is sort of our playtime when we play in white knight chronicles. we used to be longer in ffxi but due to everyone is old, so i guess we will stick with wkc playtime for now. i often fall asleep at my chair w..if i don't response they know i doze off w.

for weekends.. maybe will less people play but nevertheless couple people will be up.. i won't be home at weekend nights. hunting for food w : p

you might think we our playtime abit intense but w have more time doesn't mean it will be nice, if you couldn't master your favour class combat, even have 24hours also still sucks w. so were just normal la.. www

i don't find it is a problem to play with jp eventho i knew nothing of japanese. if they jp only, they can go fuuuck themself. actually i prefer to play jp more than na w.. if only met strong players.. jp people also tend to stay longer in pt w.. 5-6hrs at least for partying~ but judging from ffxiv current open beta.. i not even sure need partying w.. or alliance.. w

i think there is no such play time right...just depend on us..n this time is solo game so u can solo most of the time =D

It's still comes back to FFXI's fundamental, party = faster level up if you're level/pt whore lol. I found JP players nowadays are more acceptable towards asian players(except noob ones or low level) as I do enjoyed pt w/ them which occasionally non-stop 2hrs straight w/ little to none break. A little japan language is encourage at least in order to get pt more often, just not sure will it apply to FFXIV.

they have the auto-translation which is very unique compared to all games which is missing this.

JP is still encourage if u do want to join in jp pts.

Now they won't bother much because everyone is new and they need pple.

Once their lvls have gone to a certain lv, they'll start to pick JPs or understand JPs onry.

Besides they won't be able to tell if u are an asian or NA/EU since what we all use is english.

You're right on the translation part . Still remembered last time I'll put on a JP note if I wanna do quest/mission/pt just so JP will acknowledge me lol. Anyhow, I preferred to be known as Asian too rather than NA/EU even though I write English bcoz some NA players do have attitude problems

any server also same.. anywhere u go u will always encounter japanese and americans.. they are the majorities.. as long as we can decide on one server we can still regroup... the reason i choose mysidia coz i currently joining juine ls.. and some of us going to mysidia, might aswell choose mysidia as unofficial.. but its up your personal pref, if u have friends waiting we not forcing u.. but it would be great if we can play under the same roof.. or maybe u guys can apply for juine's ls .. we can be casual player.. im also thinking of being a casual player..
