guys can try MCCM v3.x desire hd rom, almost all the things working, most smooth and stable desire hd rom available. battery less than 8ma standby(3g on). in real life battery use for my 1 year old hd2 battery, standby can last 2-3days with 3g on. normal usage (browsing, sms, call) for 12 hours uses around 50%-60% of battery, depend on usage.
beside, mdeejay gingerbread 0.8 was also ok, but with some feature not working, standby less than 8ma as well. |

QUOTE(jacksonywl @ Dec 31 2010, 10:27 PM) ROM on nand still isnt as full-featured as SD right? Although the speed improvement is a great thing! There's still plenty of room for improvement! Long live the developers! actually it as goo as sd, or even better because smoother and much better battery result, (2-4ma) on standby compare to 8ma before.beside it have better rmnet support, which can eliminate the data drop problem on sd PPP version. all the stuff work on SD work on nand, and app2sd is also working |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jan 10 2011, 07:18 PM) Hmm... so those who running NAND ROM, are you using squashed version as i think most of us here are not T-mobile users. So the memory available will be very limited. nand with rmnet is a great reason to jump to nand build, data drop was almost 0%.Currently running MDJ DHD 4.6 and sometime the data connection are really annoying. Also my icon status for the Data connection only shows "G" and "E" only. It nvr came out "H" or "3G". That's weird O.o for me i dont have data drop at all with rmnet. gingerbread run great and smooth on hd2, DHD room still need some more improvement. |

QUOTE(TongCN @ Jan 10 2011, 09:22 PM) Lol ... just found that i turned on the "2G only network" so cannot connect to 3G network. i am on international version. android 2.3 dont use up much nand, u will have around 300mb free space left. However, will get data drop when i tried to youtube ... the connection just stopped working and have to enter flight mode and back to solve it. You using HD2 international model or T-Mobile? I just don't feel like getting low memory it run much smoother than DHD on nand, but u have to scarified sense. i you want to solve data drop problem, rmnet is the best solution, data on PPP will surely drop if you use data frequently.. |

QUOTE(enCORe @ Jan 22 2011, 02:12 PM) whoknow88 how to get the code via "chat" method? Are u using WP7 rom ? U need to jaibreak to make HD2 identify to HD7, then you need 25 activation key to get approve by server (as HD7 devices), Im still stuck to jailbreak ... which mean I'll come back to android soon Get the activation codes then u can sign to live services & marketplace XDA Developers - HD2 WP7 Forum psstt.. I got the activation code last night (via chat method) xander HD2 still high value due 3 'major OS support' , this might keep retailer & seller jacking the price , RM1.3k .. banyak tuu |

QUOTE(enCORe @ Jan 24 2011, 11:17 AM) hengmy , hehe, i was looking for other than phone calling method actually, i tot your method is via something like online live chat?lotsa thread in xda dev mention on how to get the codes, I couldnt point directly coz is not 'exactly legal' .. err whoknow, Getting WP7 activation is troublesome, Jaibreak demand a 3gb wp7 SDK which make away for jailbreak it, hence back to android. Get any of "ClockworkMod" rom for easy increment updates. Hengmas You cannot use the OTA updates, it was mention for original devices which has embed with original rom, attempting update might broke the rom itself. |
