I was running MDJ_FroYo_HD_v._4.5_MDJ_S78.0 and the battery drops from 100% to 80% during my 3 hours of sleep. Indicator shown 43% gone to "idle" while another 40+ gone to screen display. I think its horrible. Now I am installing v4.6 and hopefully things will be better. If not, I got this "setCPU" on standby =)anyway the battery seems quite bad wif this.. fully charged at 2.00 am.. at 9 am is oledi 69% at this time is 39 % current widget says idle mode is ard 80... is it only me or ? you can upgrade from 4.5 to 4.6 with the same images, but if youve error closing program, you might need to clear the data cache of teh hungup program smang its fast but interface still lacking unlike desire build, gingerbread keyboard is quite good, texting is easy brucesss MUI rom does not come with Sense, but some build come with Sense 'alike' widget, interface is overhaul, very smooth and responsive |

enCore, is the cedesmith a DHD rom, or Desire rom? Its pretty confusing when the folder name itself is desire_hd2. How's the battery and camcorder, and also the rest of usability that is supposed to work (what I mean is, what is working and what is not working)? I am searching for a DHD rom that can actually last a day when in use, because currently MDJ FroYo HD v.4.6=-[FRG83D][kernel:MDJ S8.0] couldnt even last a day when most of the time all its doing is in idle! I am even using setCPU but I still see a 50-60mA (currentwidget) everytime I unlock the phone. Its kinda disastrous. A phone is supposed to drain when in use, not drain when its idle

Its Cedesmith Desire HD rom, yup the folder was name desire_hd.
If you rename the folder to Android, edit the path in startup.txt too. 50-60 mah standbye occur when u running haret when CPU intensive. I finally found a trick how to running android is lower power consumption Now the trick, let your devices turn off/screen off in winmo 5 minutes to let it idle, wakeup and immediately run the android loader, best when the keypad still lights on, this will affect your battery. Grab Android Loader here This post has been edited by enCORe: Dec 22 2010, 02:56 PM |

I faced problem using autoloader when the phone just started up. When I use autoloader without going into WinMo 1st, my android apparently froze sometimes (usually when the screen is locked, i cant unlock and have to remove-reinsert battery). Not sure how accurate is my assumption though. This situation doesnt occur when I run Android after running WinMo.
How accurate/workable is that "trick" you mention? Any reference for me to read through? I could really use a boost up battery life. Phone fully charged at 3.30am and when I reach home from work at 6PM, only 6% left. No phone call at all, less than 1 minutes of video testing, less than 20 sms, thats all. Its...... horrible. |

Make sure youre using correct loader coz theres there another I-fogot-the loader-name which has error
Im using mskip Android Loader v5.0 for HD2. Make sure disable prompt for android booting on windows start. Im just using a 'default' launcher after 5 minutes idle. I dont use 'restart and booting android' launcher because during windows startup, loading OS make cpu intensive., so it DOES affect standby battery. Give a try 1st and you'll see the different. Let your devices sleep in 5 minutes, wakeup and launch the loader, check my currentwidget here http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=38405787 This post has been edited by enCORe: Dec 22 2010, 08:04 PM |

I was using mskip v5 when using MDJ v4.5 and I got my 1st screen of death. Not knowing what the problem is + v4.6 came out, I changed to MDJ v4.6 and currently using EBL. Both loader, when I boot during winmo startup they experience screen of death.
Anyway, I will give your "5 minutes" trick a try and see what happens. If it works, god bless. If it doesnt, hell Imma gonna change to other rom already. BTW, can you watch .avi from your Cedesmith DHD rom? I cant watch .avi in my MDJ v4.6! |

Jackson,
Most desire hd based rom has video playback issue, Im resolving with rockplayer. Im suggesting to use mskip over ebl loader, Brucess, Flashing unofficial rom will not remove hspl. Only flashing official rom via microsd will update your spl |
