Does porting android need to HSPL ?
And do I need to turn off anti virus (Kaspersky) to do the HSPL ?
Thanks.

Normally HSPL took how long to done?

here >> XDA-Developers please read the wiki under HD2 sections rather asking here as this kind of question has been answered more than thousand times and most of us here might not be able to reply to your simple questions which can be obtain from XDA-Dev. so, start your reading now.

for android HD2 you should read here too HD2 Android Thread with Guide .

and for your Devices appearance you should try to snap few picture otherwise we wont be able to see where is your problem.

The appearance of the device hardly to be captured by my old camera sad.gif
But it just at the top left edge there, there's a vertical line at the red line i showed below.
Not sure it's normal or not ...

No, it was a newly bought HD2 last Friday sad.gif
So it wasn't appear on urs ?

anyway how to fix the setcpu thinggy

try reconfig teh setcpu

Check superusers root access - allow ,

run setcpu select menu ( win icon), select devices selection,
you'll see 3 choice, choose autodetect speed recommened

have the line on mine also. been there from day 1. its on the bottom left with the screen facing me though. mine is a t-mous set. is your unit sis...?

Afaik,
it has NO limitation, only release ROM has some limitation, eg Desire HD, Desire Z camera module is not yet working.
Android performance speed on HD2 actually was very good when tweaking the right rom & kernel

just to double confirm. USB tethering is using's mobile's internet on my PC correct? so meaning to say my ISP is my mobile?
What if i want to use my PC's ISP on my mobile?

and i think i asked this before, can you guys use connect your phone to your PC? as in using disk drive and be able to view your phone's content on your PC? mine cant seem to work sad.gif

true, its not very visible. took me awhile to notice it even...
bought mine on ebay. was considering selling it even...

Currently using "NexusHD2-FRG83D V1.7 PPP + RMNET" and found that the battery life is impressive O.O

Btw, wanna ask that how do i add chinese for sms input? I cant find this language input sad.gif
But can change to Chinese language system ...
