Hi,

I had downloaded One Click Lag Fix from android market.
Ran the root function from the app, and it instructed me to go into recovery mode.

When I try to go into the recovery mode, no matter how many times I tried, my phone keep starts normally.
Can't go in the recovery mode.

I'd try all the below:

A) Vol. Up + Home + Power, release when first Samsung logo appear

B) Vol. Up + Home + Power, Keep holding it throughout

C) Vol. Up + Home + Power, release Power button only when first Samsung logo appear

And many more combinations, which still doesn’t work.
When I search the internet, I realised a number of people cant get into recovery mode as well but no one seems to know the reason.

Any Sifu can help me?
My phone are supposed to be locked to O2 (UK provider) and Im in UK.

Voodoo lagfix is a very clean solution but work currently only for Eclair/Android 2.1 builds. If you use it, you’ll need to uninstall your previous lagfix before installing Voodoo. Hopefully, the uninstallation procedure is explained in it’s documentation.

entering recovery mode should be put in the first page FAQ..
a lot of people do it wrongly..

press and hold volume up, home + power.. the moment you see samsung logo, release only the power button for one second (while still holding volume up + home button) and hold all 3 buttons again..

official froyo update for SGS has been delayed until late Oct 2010

u got to use the original twlauncher to connect to ur laptop via usb

Yup, try this method. You can connect as mass storage using Launcher Pro this way. But if you want to connect to KIES, then need to revert to TW first before connecting USB.

noob question here..
to transfer file from pc to galaxy s using USB need to have software name Kies is it?

Another question for those who are on Voodoo, are u guys able to mount USB storage to ur computer? used to work, but now even i click Mount, my computer doesn't even detect.

Regarding the phone auto-restarting, it happened to me once today. Never happened before. I was downloading updates from the Market and transferring files via bluetooth simultaneously. Should it be sent back to Samsung to be checked?

Also, my call quality on the phone is quite inconsistent. Sometimes halfway through the call, the line will break up. I can't hear the other party for a few seconds, after that sometimes it will be okay, sometimes the call will end. Anyone experienced this before?

my phone auto restart itself a few times(in a matter of minutes) when I was trying to connect to a wifi spot a couple of weeks ago..

really needs to be sent back to Samsung??

Oh, I initially thought it wasn't a big deal as my previous phones also had auto restart before... Mind to clarify what was the mainboard problem?? What damage can it cause??

I cant recall properly what happened, but I think I was trying to connect to my house wifi but I was far from it and the wifi signal was very weak, tried connecting to it and it restarted, then tried connect again and it restarted again..then I stopped...In short distance I can always connect to it
