QUOTE(kmrdeva @ Sep 22 2010, 11:41 AM) (1) depends on the price I'm always connected as well. That is why I have the charger ready at my desk in my office and use USB charger at home.(2) I've only had my SGS for a few months. Maybe you can check back in a year or two. (3) Yes, if like me, you're always connected to 3G/HSDPA doing push email, facebook, twitter etc, the batt can barely last 1 day. Have to charge every night. |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Sep 26 2010, 11:46 PM) Screen may flicker once when it's busy. I guess it's normal. I have 1 flicker everytime I am done entering my PIN code but not with USB connection. Same here. Only used it for firmware updates.Just download the KIES, install it, and use it. It isn't as problematic as described in forums for my case. It just works wonderfully, although I don't use it except to check for firmware updates. Kies Image Storing option apparently will copy everything every time, not just the new ones. If like that I rather connect through Storage Mode. Luckily theres a free app called PCFileSync that helps you to sync files wirelessly with your PC. I used it to sync my Music Videos and Photo Album folder, and also use it to move all pictures taken by the camera to my laptop. This post has been edited by emino: Sep 27 2010, 04:33 AM |

Remember, the keyword is hold. Not just push once. Hold around 1-2 seconds.

I bet if you treat any smartphones as 3310, never on 3G, never on GPS, no wallpaper, basic ringtone etc etc etc, the battery would last as 3310.
But you would never do that with your phone. |

QUOTE(dejima @ Sep 29 2010, 10:00 AM) hey guys, something to share... That review is biased. Even though if it is indeed true that IP4 wins in brightness and Power Consumption, but seriously, I think the other test results are pretty major as well. Reflection? Contrast? Color Accuracy? All of those shows that SGS beats IP4. By A LOT.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2369761,00.asp I compare it with my friend's iphone4, and i found brightness in GS is better than iphone4...but this review saying iphone4 is better...is true ar? Yes, I also usually only use 20% brightness. This post has been edited by emino: Sep 29 2010, 10:17 AM |

I think there are too many people here referred to Froyo as a miracle cure that can ends all the problems in the world. You will be disappointed if you do.
Sure, Froyo might fix lots of problems in the current build, but who knows what new problems they will bring? So dont set your expectation too high or you will be too disappointed in the end. |
