Road hoggers must be fair to others
I WISH to respond to the letter “Keeping to speed limit isn’t hogging” (The Star, Sept 6).
In actual fact, it is still road hogging as driving at the speed limit or even slightly over it does not give you the right to be in the right lane.
The simple rule is if there is someone faster than you, give way and let him or her through.
While I don’t condone speeding, road hogging (at whatever speed) creates a very unfavourable situation while driving on the highways.
People start tailgating then start overtaking on the left lanes. So stick to the simple rule I stated above.
Don’t try to enforce the speed limit on others, it is not your job.
