Motorola Driod 2, Getting one from the US

Does anybody know if the driod 2 is compatible gsm services in malaysia and singapore?
If not, what phones would you guys recommend that i can get my hands on in the US and still work here, assuming they are unlocked models. I am currently interested in the driod 2 and driod incredible. This post has been edited by crapp0: Sep 6 2010, 04:47 PM |

DroidX and Droid2 are CDMA, not compatible with our GSM.....you have to wait for the GSM version like the Droid/cdma=Milestone/gsm.

Droid phones are locked to Verizon Wireless and do not have sim cards because they are CDMA phones and that's how Verizon rolls. You want an unlocked phone, go to Singapore.
An unlocked Droid 2 would cost around $300 |

milestone 2 is officially released. but not yet reach our shore. wait a few month for our distributer to bring it in.
