Forumer you are complaining against: Chong Kit Mun (Bronson) PBB account 4856290414 from Segamat Phone number 0102792206

Item being sold/bought: Canon 5Dm2 cost Rm4500 (used)

Original thread link: Has been deleted by him

Date of transaction: 1.9.2010

Details of the complaint : Once receive money, the phone number cannot get through.

My biggest mistake ever. I wish there is no other victim like me. Now need to start saving again for lower end canon 7D. No more buying camera stuff in LYN for me. Its too 'dirty' here.

If it not mistaken, the author cannot delete the thread by his own, only moderate can do that.

Hi There TS,

I saw that thread before and almost contacted the seller but decided not to purchase due to other commitments.

I suggest you make a police report & bring your police report to PBB, perhaps they can do something. Aside from that try to take some personal action to track down this fella. Once you locate him, call the cops.

kindly go make a police report then u can only find the info of the bank holder after u get the approval from the Bank Negara. so this if u wan fast approval, approach the police inspector tat is assigned to ur case. he will settle it for u. u might wanna pm Apis who is quite experience in all these stuffs.

can u post his lyn profile here too ? so tat some of the ppl here can help on tracking his IP or dupes. smile.gif

I don't agree... A lot of accident happen on the road but if u driving safely, most probaly u will survive. Same here, if u be carefull before dealing, it's a shoping paradise here...

Nothing can i say about u, bank in 4.5k to a stranger that newly register, no post nor succesfull tradelist

Its was a great lesson to me. At least i 'just' lost RM4500 not RM45000 or even more later day.

I made a complaint to Public Bank and the i get back the call from 1 of the manager named Mr. Lau. I found out that bank account number is register at Ipoh. And the money withdrawn at KL.

I immediate made a police report after i knew this case. And 1 of the inspector wants to see me after i made the report. I just explain my whole story and he create a file for my case. I just want that guy go in lokap for 1 week will do. The inspector also mention that i wont get back those money unless he bank in back to me. Police and Public bank is going to help me to contact this guy.

Dont be too upset when you see my story. When i went to police station just now, i found out my case just a very small amount. There was a pair of couple before i went in inspector's room. Their case is cheating her best friend (27years of friendship) for RM300k.

I had trade so much in internet using Ebay, Private wedsite, so far no problem. I bought my 1st Gen iPhone from US ebay also no problem.
If lyn change to paypal paying method this thing wont happen. Even Malaysia nowadays very famous Ipay88 also not bad. At least they put our money on hole until we get our stuff. Of cos these 2 companies have some surcharge like 3-4% to seller.

Good luck

I know you want to be optimistic but people don't 'just' lost RM4,500 and let's not even bother mentioning RM45,000.. seriously OMG.

Anyway, hope you will get some or all your money back and always bear this in mind - if the deals' too good to be true, usually it's because it is!

Thanks for your words. I wish he reads this tread and return those money to me. Other wise, he will get in trouble later on (claim from the inspector).
