I don't think it's possible to light up a ccfl without the inverter box. Finding it hard to hide the box ?

I have a spare inverter, if you need then i can sell it to you. PM me if you want it. I am using the Lamptron 4 in 1 inverter for my build now. It was a bit buggy at first but seems to work fine now

Yup, the normal ones should be fine, but maybe u need to check your connections if it burns that fast. What brand did you buy? Next time get all your CCFL from claw
