I want to ask something
My iphone 4 bought from US with OS4.0.2 and I can restore the phone as a new phone, which all my backups from my current iphone 3GS are copied to the new iphone 4.

Does that mean, when i insert the microsim, i can straight away use it? Or even if it's a locked phone, one still can restore the backup from phone to phone but only not able to use as a phone....?
My question for this is because I remembered that last time, if it's a US bought phone, one is not able to even open the phone to access anything inside..

hope someone can answer my doubt...
