Prepare your nokia contacts from your nokia phone to microsoft outlook, then use itunes to sync the contacts from outlook.

Why sometimes I enabled the 3G Data connection in the Network setting, and the 3G logo appear above but I don't get to online, when I opened the Safari it says something that not able to online due to connection failed(I have to Off the Data Connection and re-open again until it works), it happens in some hidden areas like my hometown, inside toilet, but it doesn't happen in the area like Bukit Bintang. Btw I'm using Maxis.

Must connect the phone, then only can do update, right?

If u are talking about white stuff being a bit blue when taken under flouracent lighting.
It's a known problem of IPhone 4

once u insert the carrier sim, then no network will be detected, it happened to most of ip users ler hehe

If it's not caused by a case, the only other explanation found on the interwebs is because of the original, clear protective skin on the back.

Otherwise, turn it in for warranty, because it ain't normal.

Hey guys, I'm currently having an Android and planning to switch back (yes, I had the iPhone before) to the iPhone because I'm sick of the battery life on my device.

May I know how good is the battery life when the 3G is left on ALL the time? My previous iPhones (1st gen & 3GS) had not had its data enabled, it gave me about 2-3 days worth of battery life on a single charge. But what about when the 3G is on?

I know there is some official stats on the internet but I'd like to hear from the users themselves.

try off all those needless functions & close those programs at multitasking bar..

i got problem with my iphone4 my screen is blank i cant off or restart or on or charge or do whatever thing. It's a lemon set from MAXIS.

wow ur phone still with the ori plastic....don wanna change to sp?....initially i dun wanna remove the original plastic too! bcos it fully protect the phone ( although it comes with a lil bit of light scratches but thn the maxis worker open it half when activating my phone and the dust all go in  )...thn i 4got bout can use cellophane tape and get the dust out, go to some small stall to install some chepo sp.... now, there are 1 dust inside in the middle part (the white lil flying dust which shine when u are on white screen) and the edge doesn't stick up well..... zzzzzzz real frustrate for the imperfect... so do u face any sound problem with the plastic on?

yeah mine also like this..... with plastic on it, thn when u flash.... gt the blueish screen....

Added on October 8, 2010, 1:32 ameheh..just a silly question here...will dust enter to the inner part of ip4 screen thru speaker and mic? cos my nokia phone gt few dots of dust at in inner part of screen that enter thru speaker i guess...

nope it's not closed. double-click the home button, touch n hold any app until a minus sign appears. use that to properly close apps

LOL so the cause of the blue flash thing is bcuz of the plastic??? haha i thought all of u dun use that anymore. that shud've been the 1st thing that comes to ur mind about the weird flash colour

When u double tap the home button, u will see the 'multitasking' menu, ie. ur recently used app/background running apps..
The apps that appears are apps that u have opened.. if u dont completely close (i think the right term is kill, correct me if im wrong) those apps, they will still appear in the multitasking bar.

Newer apps that are made for iOS 4 supports multitasking.. meaning, if ur playing, lets say, Angry Birds, then in the midst of playing u press the home button and browse Safari, send an SMS, answer a call.. then later if u double tap the home button and click on angry birds, u will continue to where u left off. Just like Alt-Tab for windows. But then again, as mentioned, not all apps supports multitasking.

So, for apps that dont support multitasking, if u have opened it and repeat the same process above, the icon will appear in the multitasking menu/bar, but when u click on it, it wont start where u left off, but instead it will start from beginning. U can try this with older games.

Pressing the home button does not completely close/kill apps that support multitasking. it simply pushes it to background. As dvlzplayground have mentioned, to kill it, u have to double tap home, then in the multitasking bar, find the app u want to kill, long press on it until u see a red minus (-) sign appear, then click on that.

Alternatively, if u wanna kill all apps, just reboot ur phone. When u reboot, the apps will still appear in the multitasking bar, but it is not actually running. This time it will just appear as "recently used".

A bit confusing is it? U can try it urself to confirm.

Hi all, just wanna check with u all. When u all shake your iPhone 4 a bit and try to listen, do u all hear anything inside? When I shake mine, it sounds like there is something loose inside. Should I send it back to maxis and change a new one? What do u all think?

I have a problem,
Everytime i sync my iphone 4 with my pc, the Iphone time keep change. After i adjust it back, it is ok until the next sync, it  changes again. Anybody having this problem?

Side note: My PC time sometimes also change by itself, it happens about once every 2 weeks. After i adjust the PC clock, the problem come back again in about 2 weeks time. Is this a bios problem?
