Dont worry,restore your phone in iTunes(it will automatically detected and restore).
Restore using iTunes with the latest software or download iOS 4.1 from source : http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1223378

try to soft reset the phone.
if still persist,hard reset
Apple advised restoring back the phone.
haizz,they need to fix this clearly backbreaking, feature crippling bug.

Try check wifi connection in other public places like Mcd ,KFC or your friends home wifi for secure connection.
If the problem still presist,upload a new firmware to your phone.
Btw,using a complain template is encouraged.Next time please use the template instead of giving a long essay.

Grouping.The biggest problem that iOS 4 above owner faceing up
There no rules on grouping.
You are free and legal to use the firmware unless tempered it.
Sort out like Games,Entertainment(call track,facetrack,),GPS Apps,Social and so on.I dont want to teach you.Learn up dude.

Maxis are ready to help you by exchanging your current card to micro sim.
Why you went and cut the card instead of changing it ?
You can call or visit any maxis store to get your new micro sim for rm10.They charge it as sim replacement.

Why you say JB phone dont have this problem ? please read back that most of 40% of JB phone are having a serious time on their phone.
Btw, my piece of advise,try to hard reset your phone 1st.If cant,reflash your phone using the same iOS 4.1.
I dont think its a bug for iOS 4.1.
Since your qwerty keyboard are not sensitive ,i suspect there might a crash firmware loaded on it.

Remember,always update or restore firmware from iTunes.Dont download from other source offering the firmware.
There might be info highjack.

No you cant.iTunes automatically detected your location (Malaysia) and only purchase available from Malaysia Store.


Its not rattle my dear.The phone vibrates.
Please check the setting->sounds ..scroll till bottom.check the setting over there.try to on and off.and then reboot your phone.

Feel free to visit any Maxis or Digi store to get your new micro sim card.They will provide it as new.No need to cut and do the messy job,although easy.

My piece of advise .I been watching over your phone problem since you post over here.
Im really sorry on that phone problem.I will try to help as much as i can on this brother.

Issue 1.
Since you cant make outgoing calls,the suspect is your line(digi is your carrier i assume).
Last time i had this same problem where call failed and unsupported network from Maxis(customer complained alot).
So i did my own DIY for that phone.
Simply restore back my 3.1.3iOS (iphone2g) and walaaa,its no more.
p/s: unlock only.no JB
Maybe you can try that method since yours is Digi set.

Issue 2.
Signal bars problem.All iPhone 4 having this problem from the 1st days its launch.Holding while making calls,will reduce your signal bars.Apple still looking for this problem solution.
Since its made of metal barrier,so cant help much on that.Seems the barrier metal are surrounded and its functioning as Wifi,Edge,Gsm and UTMS.

So my advise,try to restore your firmware back to iOS 4.1 and look if the problem still presist,get your phone back to Digi for replacement.

so now you clear about your phone.its the phone defect sometimes.not only you having this problem.
go to DIgi store,bash them up kaw kaw on your problem.
Ask for phone replacement.

But before that,try to restore the phone using the same iOS 4.1 .If not get it warranty covered from Digi

i dont have iphone 4.
coz i dont want to spend my cash on that phone for time being.
i just had ipod touch 4g,which is similiar to that.

btw,previously for temporary i was using iphone 4(brother after he past away recently).
i can get instant connection where ever i am.
