I found that iphone 4 unlike nokia, when i set the alarm on then switch off the phone, it won't ring it on, must on the phone then only the alarm works.

lastnight i perform another testing with my digi i4 battery performance.

before sleep i already close all the application/close the 3g network/close the location services/close the push service etc as what mentioned in other thread to save the battery, the battery % before i sleep is 80% and today when i wake up it drop until 65%, does this mean the battery got problem?

Guys, what app do you use to encode video for ip4? I've tried videora lately but the interface is annoying, and video files greater than like 30minutes can't be transferred.

depends on your usage.. yesterday after i full charge.. i idle for 6hours 30 mins hours and it only consume me 1%.. then some usage over the wifi and downloading 1 app.. which is around 20mins.. it consume another 2mins..

mine in standby mode the battery can drop from 80% till 65% this morning.

did you turn on your 3g/wifi ?

I had the same problem as you. Nothing to do with a battery fault. Were you hooked up to wifi? You need to turn off the Notification's as that would automatically keep you hooked up by wifi or 3g thereby draining your battery.

If you want to save more battery then turn off the 3g as well.

even if ur hooked to wifi, ur battery wont drop that badly.

mine usually drop 2-5% when i'm sleeping even with tons of notification.

best is to turn off 3g when ur in wifi.

or maybe ur battery tak fully optimize lagi. benda biasa with new devices.

I discover that network line maxis on ip4 is fluctuate. My other device showing full bar all the time.

Did u ACTUALLY go to Setting>General>NetworkEnable 3G>Off ? Cuz i think thats how u off the 3G... if 3G still on, u can see at the Signal there got "3G" this word. If off, den got "E"

I not very pro lar cuz this is my 1st time having iphone hehe.

check your multi-tasking page - whether you open too many apps inside. mine having the same problem too where i turn off all push notification, 3g and etc.

then surf net and found out - each application you open will go to multi-tasking bar. so you need to close those which no longer in use. now i see my phone only drop 1 to 2% every few hours ...

Well, death grip / antennagate issue is the thing that is causing this. But for my area, it just droppes 1 or 2 bars max. Doesn't cause any call drops.

Perhaps you still have all your applications running in the background ?

I had the same problem when I first got the phone, my battery was going down abnormally fast. Since the new iOS allows for multi-tasking, pressing the home button no longer closes the application you're using but instead it continues to run in the background.

To close the applications completely, "double-click" your home button and you should see the "task-bar" of all the currently open applications. Hold down on any of the shown applications and the touch the icon of the application you want closed.

Since my last full charge, my Usage has been approximately 3 Hours and Standby is approximately at 2 Days, with 60% battery life left.
