After getting the iPhone 4 from Maxis, I was trying to update IOS4.02 to IOS4.1 but iTunes keep giving me error message saying that the iPhone update server could not be contacted.
Anybody else having same problem, or is it just me?
I thought I could restore my backup contacts, bookmarks, etc from my iPhone 3GS 4.1 backup into my new iPhone 4...BUT iTunes won't allow me to do it unless my iPhone 4 was also IOS4.1. This is so frustrating.
Yes if youre previous backup is from OS 4.1 then you'll have to update the IP4 fw to 4.1 to restore from backup, I encountered it as well but the download and update went through and synced my backup..Voila! carbon copy of my 3GS!Anybody else having same problem, or is it just me?

When your signal is on GSM 900 (Maxis) u wont have death grip issue.....
When your signal is on GSM 1800 (Digi) or 3G network which MY is using UMTS 2100 (Maxis & Digi), you will have death grip issue!
How do you determine if you are on GSM 900 or UMTS 2100? care to explain? yup im on MaxisWhen your signal is on GSM 1800 (Digi) or 3G network which MY is using UMTS 2100 (Maxis & Digi), you will have death grip issue!
