iOS 4.1 users, do you notice a significant improvement in the proximity sensor?

How are you saving your photos onto your phone? iTunes?

Anyone experiencing problems with "usage time" in general settings? My usage time seems to update itself when my phone is locked. When turned on, both standby and usage time update at the same time.

Anyone got this problem? This is the 2nd time I've seen it and I'm sure a reset would fix it, but I'm just wondering if this is a bug in the new iOS 4.1 or something.

My "usage time" updates itself even when my phone is locked. By right, only the standby time is supposed to update while the phone is not in used -- but in this case, both update at the same time -- even when there is no activity going on.

Usage/activity is when the screen is turned on and I'm doing something on it, no? Or if I'm listening to music? Correct me if I'm wrong.

My problem is that the usage time updates itself even when my phone is just sitting on the table doing absolutely nothing.

But it's not so much of a problem for me. I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing it and if it's a common issue or what.

There isn't. But the latest update was Steve Jobs' actually telling someone "Christmas is later this year."

So maybe then?

That's what I thought. Just can't imagine what app that would be. Either way, I'll check it out.

The death grip only happens in certain areas. I've tried it.

So far my signal only drops in TTDI and The Gardens. It doesn't happen when I'm at One Utama or Bandar Utama. I haven't tested anywhere else. I think it's mostly the area that you're in as it doesn't happen all the time.

Btw, take a look at some other phones. You'll realize that the iPhone is not the only phone with signal issues. My Sony Ericsson phone produces signal issues even when not holding in a specific way.

By right, iTunes should've backed up your previous contact list and restored it during the installation of iOS 4.1.

This problem only appeared after you upgraded? No problem on iOS 4.01 or .02?

Might wanna bring it in for a replacement then. Better do so quick before stocks deplete.

What exactly does "a little sucky" mean? How long does your battery last on an average? I think iPhones in general tend to be quite bad with battery life.

Definitely 32 GB. I got a 16 GB and now it's not enough—getting a 32 GB from Maxis tomorrow.

From the looks of it, I'd have to agree with you. Most iPhone 4 users in M'sia don't really experience the death grip. Although it shows in certain situations, it's not as bad as iPhone users in the US.
