if youre not using VPN,the settings shoud be left as it is,which is empty.

Its a technical standpoint la...but yes, I do personally experience these as well on my friend's SG iPhone 4 on both Maxis n Digi.

just register a new number with digi today. call out call in MMS all okay only WAP cannot. guess i wait first..

Can i conclude

SG iphone 4, Maxis iPhone 4 and Digi Iphone 4 still have death grip, but will never drop to Zero bar.

Yes..is official from Apple server and we have been downloading them firmware since the iPhone 2G days. You can also use iTunes to download the firmware as well. Either way is safe.

Lets say originally you have 5 bars....death grip u may reduce to maybe 1 or 2 bars.......but when u originally have 2 or 3 bars...death grip may let u drop to zero bar. It depends on situations.

And you're rite, SG, Maxis, Digi and whatever country / telco iPhone 4 = Death Grip issue.

As far as i know, downloading firmware from iTunes is slow. From the direct links, i can download them in 20 mins and yes, you can use them.

Follow the instructions on how to restore/upgrade the firmware on the first post.

Seems tht death grip is an issue. Notice tht the signal drop is very bad. How bout the quality if call? Experienced drop call a lot? Me is using 3GS with ios4. The signal oso no good but some the quality of call touch wood still ok. Any ip4 user can share?
