since guard is the tank, it's only good for tanking, almost no DPS. with your high vitality, basically you outlast the mob.

while champs (with their AOE DPS) burn through mobs and can tank a bit, more versatile and much requested in skirmishes/instances.

if you buy quest packs (QP), then you can access quests in those regions indefinitely. no need to pay anymore until you have out-leveled the area and need to move on to newer regions.

my suggestion is that it's better if you play the starter zones for a while and see if you like the game.

btw, steam has a starter pack that complements Mithril Edition well (no overlap in quest areas)..

what server are you in? most of LYN'ers are in Elindimir, though not sure how many are still active..
