LOTRO is F2P, nicely fun, doing achievement to gain traits and turbine point just makes grinding lots less tedious

lol, i'll tell you how strong is RK... i saw in front of my eye a level 47 RK beat a level 60 guardian.. i sparred with him, i dont last longer than 5sec... and btw i'm a lore master (level 39 that time tongue.gif)

i cant say which is better... they have they're own role, RK can heal or dps, for LM u are the master of CC and de-buffs... and if i'm not mistake only LM can transfer to power to ally

I actually plan to take the shortcut (aka CASH) but too bad MOL not support this game. Waiting my debit cad from mail now,....

OK so I'm still solo-ing atm, the cash gone wild overflow so I spent money on houses... (i think it kind of a waste lol...)

so if I want to continue, what are the basic requirements? so far I know of quest pack, gold cap & maybe traits slot.

early game go for quest packs, trait slot and bag slot, money cap

mid game - auction slots are really great for gold income

Try considering the Moria expansion pretty good package with 2 classes and various other things inside

later you'll probably buy riding skill and crafting stuff

every week they've got discount offer on various so keep an eye on that, might do you good =D to be a little thrifty on the LOTRO store

I've highlighted some important stuff - anybody feel free to add anything - this is from my point of view

@ M I X
using cash item is not really a shortcut actually, yea unlocking classes is pretty good unless your satisfied with the available ones. some cash item are really needed so there's the mutual feeling everyone gets - plus they let you gain turbine points in the game so the loss is not felt so significantly than other MMOs

Yeah spending a little is fine for me. I actually have the auction slot x10 and riding skill already. What I really wish to get are some excluside outfits, better mount, and of course quest pack and the most-needed gold cap remover. I still 100-points short for the cap remover though =/ don't really got much time to play since busy with other games and work too ;p

are u gonna buy the turbine point? if yes then u will automatically upgraded to premium member, 5gold cap... spend money on house if not bad, you can get a chest with up to 30storage

as for quest pack question, i suggest you do all the quest available until u reach a stage where u can only level by book quest or skirmmish, then we can provide best answer..

Like what malcolm said, don't bother with house - level up and do all the quest till there's no more quest available. Pretty soon at mid-level you'll be buying quest packs
your first purchase will grant you Premium membership which entitles you what malcolm described.

one more thing.. if you use real money to buy turbine point or other stuff then u will be upgraded to premium.... if u use the turbine point u earn in the game to buy quest pack, i'm not sure lol ^^

want the fastest way to upgrade to premium the fastest ? just pay rm2.50 to buy some turbine point.. u can just click lotro store and "add point"

Hi guys,

I've decided to give Lotro a shot. Looking for kinship on Elendilmir Server.
IGN : Bintailou
I'm a very very very very casual player. I try to play with whatever limited playtime I have. Also, I'm looking for some experienced players to guide me.

Basically, I don't even know how to search for kinships or use the general chat.
