think this is more class based.. as in each class have their own skill sets?
Added on May 7, 2011, 2:35 amfound an explanation on it so lotro should be more towards class based.. as in all of the same class get to learn the same skills..
oh...i like skill based more...for example, today i play melee tomorrow i respec into magic at a cost...
anyway, how pvp works in lotro?
you playing yet? pvp in Lotro works as monster play. when you join a monster play you get to select one of the "evil" side and their level will be at level 60.. they will battle with the normal players on a special pvm map. Doing the various missions on this map will allow for upgrade of these monsters skills and stats.
oh so they dun have the original pvp system...like me vs u
ow.. it has "Sparring" mode to test your strength against others (1on1) anytime, anywhere... once accepted by the other, then a timer will countdown... and then the battle begins.. but its all just for bragging rights its lord of the rings! you dont kill you own allies haha..
edit: i've joined, on elendilmir server. nickname there - eddradan

i tried: 1.manually installed - fail (install terminated) 2.delete all .NET framework using the software given in a thread at technical forum & then manual install - fail (install terminated)\ 3.redownload .NET framework & install - fail(install terminated AGAIN) 4.follow the steps from the link given above - FINALLY CAN RUN THE GAME!!
now downloading game data.. hopefully nothing bad will happen :S
Which mean if I dont wanna top up, I will forever stick with lvl 65? What's the max level btw?
65 IS the max atm you will need to either purchase the map pack by means of paying or by farming the turbine point to purchase it. So basically you are at par with paying customers in terms of stats.
Anyone purchased the Isengard Pre-Order? still thinking.. haha.. it should be purchasable on release in the LOTRO store.. but the pre-order items has THE "ring" effect to them.. just keeps asking me to buy buy buy xD
uh.. haven't logged on the game for ages now..... err.. the isengard expansion out for preorder already ? how many TP if buy from store ?
Good news is pre-order is out. Bad news is, you cant pre-order using TP points. Need cold hard cash~ or credit card~ ;P but it should be purchasable from store with TP upon launch.. no idea on the price though.
