i think it depends on region/map . on most regions it is lagless for me, but in certain area i feel it is a bit laggy. the ping for this game is 300ms for our country on average....

guys.. wat are the MUST-BUY stuffs to purchase for free players via turbine points? so far i can only find mount skill and currency cap lol.. any other suggestions?

me still having nightmare at agamaur lol, those guys hit like a train. i'm off to Trollshaw to train but like arnold said "I'll be back". i'm eyeing the sword & dagger reward there

2 kind of lagged, network & pc..so which one? i use to play on streamyx 384kbps the game is playable around 300 ping hardly any lag at all. If you on Wireless i'm not so sure. the best it to try the game yourself. other kind of lag is your current pc capabilities. If you still on pentium 2 off course the game will lagged badly but lotr don't need top of the line pc to play. any machine year 2008 and i can say it save to play. just look at my sig. rig specs below, its almost low-end already & i am still on windows xp. the game run great, one of the most beautiful mmo around imho . I'm sure the game will be even better looking with newer PC.

hmm mount skill is a must. consider buying 5 slot for auction house for extra silver incomes, but u have to looks around which items sells. Also consider buying shared slot at Vault. I've deleted so many items in the past cost of limited space which might be useful later for your alt character.
quest packs wait till in on sale, luckily i bought lonelands pack for cheap now the dev is giving it away for free

i say for virtue, traits, inventory just wait until you on right level. like me i waited till i'm at level 30, gather as much virtue & traits i can gather during free play baru i subscribe the game for a month. so almost everything is unlocked. If you let go your subscription after that you still keep the perks. Happy Hunting!

If play f2p version of this game, will it be ok also in terms of gameplay,skill cap and quest?

you can f2p this game but you'll do a lot of turbine point (TP) grinding via completion of deeds so that you can purchase/unlock the feature that are no available to free player. TPs are account based.

here is how to do that :
1. create a new character
2. complete deeds in ered luin, bree,the shire and lone-land.
3. once you've done all the deeds in above areas delete that character
4. repeat step 1

of course doing so will consume a lot of your time. game experience more or less the same except that free player will be limited to only few features. it is more or less a teaser for you ...

Hey folks, I just finished downloading the game and launching it now. But the window shows "Installing pre-requisite software: Downloadin..." Is this normal?

Well how do you change the chunk of ore into ingots?
Couldn't find anything in the guide.

press T to open crafting window. click the prospector tab and you will see a list of crafting recipe. select any recipe that you want to craft and make sure you meet the requirement such as the tool,the crafting station(workbench,oven etc) and of course the materials. after that just click make button.
