Well, if you are playing regularly, it wasn't that bad. Start with the small house(standard) first For the benefits : discount on vendors and repairs, also an 'shared storage' that won't hurt your TP. Plus, another travel skill may come in handy. So basically, if you own a personal house+Kinship house+faction reputation; it's well worth it.

So let say you get a cheapest unit with no extraordinary views :

Small house upkeep = 50s * 52 weeks = 2g 600s * 10y = 26g

Deluxe house upkeep = 150s* 52 weeks = 7g 800s * 10y = 78g

And please note, the house is per account, so your alts will share the same benefits.

aiya... 50 silver a week is very cheap laaa... you sell junks at vendors easily get 500s a day at high level. if you are around lvl 30+, you can kill trolls in north down, south east of esteldin. give 12-14 silver per kill, plus some nice junks to sell

on other topic, i think trollshaw and eregion lag like hell for me. not sure if it is network lag or just grafic lag....

2 year ago when i have a standard house it ask me to pay 1g, 50s a week, to keep the house. end up i only pay the upkeep for 1 month only.

Housing faq in lorebook is outdated. I still remember last time horse cost sooo much, and I can only afford very slow mount. Now it's so cheap, haha.

hardly noticeable.

i have played many mmos over the years. this game top the list of good latency.

hardly any lag at all, even my previous 384kbps streamyx & now using unifi. Inside city is a different matter altogether but that just my pc. can't handle so many people at once hehe

nice! me still deciding to stay at shire or ered luin, though the elf neighborhood is located in between of thorin hall & shire.
