Evendim, i not recomended buy this... the map is very annoying, u nid swim 10-15min to your mission location for ALOT of times...

haha... but this place is still nice now they have boat travel if you didnt realise.

WTA: f2p will have access to this area and the epic quest right? the quest pack are for the additional quest?

i do agree getting 1 month sub is cheaper compare buying tp to unlock stuff ingame, but do note that you have to continue to sub everymonth to main the vip status, you won't get 5 bag,extra char slot, trails open, gold limit will become 5(rest of your gold will be lock as well) after your vip status expired

but buying tp and unlock stuff will be permanent even if ur at premium status.

Nope nope, you're wrong there .. It was proven when my bf's acc status dropped to "Premium" when the credit card got a bit of a problem(fixed it after I put in some money into the debit card).

As premium (after VIP ran out)..these stays..
5 bag slot stays
unlocked trait slot stays (unlocked according to level)
character slot extra 1 (from 2 on free account to 3)
Auction House post 5 slots
Gold cap is only 5G (this one is as you say)

That so far as I remember. Which is why subscribing 1 month is a lot cheaper compare to only buy with TP. You have to remember that all the mentioned above is across all characters whereas when you buy with TP, the bag, the trait slots, etc are per character. Lets do the math..

Assume your char is at lvl 40. You have 9 purchasable trait slots.

1month subscription 14.99USD + get 500 TP free

TP for all the above: ( This is w/o the gold limit break since there are no 2 to 5 Gold limit break, only 2 to unlimited)

bag (495TP x 2) + trait slot (95x9) + char slot (595x1) + Auction post, 5 slot (495) = 2935 TP

Close to the TP amount needed is 2500 TP for 29.50USD, you still short of 450 TP.

So, my reasoning..

14.99USD (is equal to 2935TP x 3-assuming all char lvl 40 + 500TP free) VS 29.50USD (still short 450TP, and only on 1 character) WHICH IS CHEAPER?


Ahaha.. I'm one of the weird ones I guess.. been playing MMO since Hellbreath in 2000(can't remember exact year).. Funny thing is, I was the one that invite my bf to play MMO with me ..

Then again, can you endure your gf demands in online game? (get more money, grind stuff, help level, QQ about the game, get jealous when level too far apart .. etc etc etc)

Obviously I guess, if you didn't log in your character during vip.. should log in your character then

1 month is quite some time, shouldn't be a problem to log in your alts

hey guys,

i accidentally got killed at level 9. now i cant proceed further than "the wary" title. question is are the survival titles important? if it is, the i think i will have to restart

not at all.. provides only bragging rights and personal satisfaction ... i have one guardian with that.. he did not do any crazy stuff.. was just hanging around low level creatures.. and alwiz log off in towns..

f2p doesnt have quest here (unless epic) that y they sell Evendim quest pack, plus u kena bayar CASH for the boat ride, and its a limited ride, it doesnt always bring me where i always wanna go. So u still have to swim.

Well.. it's only lvl 9.. you can delete and make a new character if you want.. and titles are not really that important .. just as airwind pointed out.... Just for bragging and personal satisfaction


P/S: My bf's character died due to "Death to Misadventure" before the "the Undying" title .. he has made 3 character and all never passed the level 20 survival title .. Don't have to worry much (unless you want the title..)

want the Undying title must ask your friend protect you kao kao at all cause

if you have all day to play, i have to agree that subbing for a month is a better choice.... you could have gone all the way to 65 in one month...

this game map is so huge......

and also one thing to remember , for those intending to buy TP or quest pack or anything on lotro store.... do that when they are on offer... like the recent one where you get 6900TP for 49.99 (double bonus TP) , and few quest packs were on 75% off...

the 2 new class are nice @_@ no better time to subscribe really the US dollars is down the drain compared to few years back.. F2P to experience all and see if its all worth it

it's free to play but with lotro store, where you can unlock certain features of the game that are not accessible to free player . for example free player are limited to 2 characters, currency cap of 2 gold, and limited to 3 maps etc etc.

you can play the game without paying a single cent, by grinding the turbine point used to make purchase in lotro store. you can do that by creating character and then complete deeds that award turbine points on the 3 free maps, rinse and repeat. however if you do that you account will stay as "free" . to upgrade it to the status "premium', just buy a small amount of TP, which can be bought via phone credit deduction.
