kinship is like guild in other games

had a run on lvl 59 skirmish last night. i was lvl 55, missed most of the time when hitting lvl 60 mob... lol.... felt like completely useless. well, it was a good experience....

yes Muladdin... we should try Carn Dum... i need the Rune of Wing Dominance.. .. so expensive in AH ...

i think it depends on region/map . on most regions it is lagless for me, but in certain area i feel it is a bit laggy. the ping for this game is 300ms for our country on average....

another successful run of annuminas and urugath instance last night organized by the kin veterans... come come join our kinship.... many lowyatian already in.....

you can f2p this game but you'll do a lot of turbine point (TP) grinding via completion of deeds so that you can purchase/unlock the feature that are no available to free player. TPs are account based.

here is how to do that :
1. create a new character
2. complete deeds in ered luin, bree,the shire and lone-land.
3. once you've done all the deeds in above areas delete that character
4. repeat step 1

of course doing so will consume a lot of your time. game experience more or less the same except that free player will be limited to only few features. it is more or less a teaser for you ...

Muladdin , i am currently away on outstation work until friday. So if you could arrange their registration to our kin that would be nice. i'll chk on friday night whether they have joined or not . if not , then i'll inform our officers to add them.

by the way, did you guys have runs of instances while i was away ?

what kind of broadband u use? wired or wireless ? from my experience, if you use wireless, the loading is very very slow, for any game.... you could be experiencing lag.

so basically for those who are still f2p but want to venture more into the game, here is a good strategy :
1. get to the max level as you can from the 4 free map ie Bree, Shire, Ered Luin, Lone Land. I believe you can get to level 35, freely.
2. After that buy the mines of moria expansion from offgamers. This will give you access to all quest contents in all eriador for a month. During this one month VIP, try to reach lvl 50 as quick as possible. Also for the free character slot create a character, and login with that character at least once.

Of course, when the VIP expires, you'll lose the content of eriador apart from the 4 free mention above. you'll also be denied access to the non-free instance/skirmish .

Argghh... missing LOTRO already. Can't play until this Sunday.

i think what he meant is instead of spending 95 TP on riding trait, you could do the quest to get the skill in Bree-land... in Hangstacer farm or something...

you don't actually get the riding skill free.... you have to do a quest to get it, which is applicable only to VIP member....

you're good to go..... the quest packs are in there already... come come to moria/mirkwood....

not sure if there is such site for lotro RMT, but if i were you, i wouldn't worry much about in game gold.. they are easy to come by.... whenever in emergency need of in game gold, just kill troll (lvl 30+) in dol dinen (north down)... they give 12-14 silver per kill if you solo them, excluding the junks you get from them....

nothing in this world is free , but this game allow you to play for free, until you get bored of it ....

you need a goat as a mount in moria (moria only, not lothlorien) .... you cant use horse there....
