Hi everyone,

I have this old HP desktop at home (bought in 2003) which I seldom use since I have my laptop but I've recently decided to use back my desktop. However, as the desktop need to go under major 'overhaul', that's why I'm here to ask all the Sifu's over here for advice.

Im looking for a medium-level performance desktop basically used for watching movies, some picture editing, and a bit of games like Football Manager.

Specs I'm looking for should have at least - the i3 processor, 4gb RAM.

Budget: RM 2000 max
I already have a new monitor, so dont need a new one. blush.gif

What else can/should I get?

Thanks in advance! rolleyes.gif

erm, to be honest, I dont really know what brands are good for mobo and GC. I guess, any brands will do. As long as its proven to deliver good performance & reliable. (not much problem, etc..)

if your casing can fit everything in, I don't see why not. smile.gif

maybe with the extra saved from the casing, consider getting a better mobo,
the P7H55M-LE is a very very basic board, there's only 2 RAM slots available.
its fine though cause it gets the job done, for now.

as for a better mobo, consider P7H55-M (RM299) or P7H55 (RM345)

Or maybe get a better GC if you are more into gaming,
HD5750 512MB is only RM399 from Thundermatch.

Yeah you could. If that's the case, then you have more money to spend for either a better motherboard or something else brows.gif.
