I'm planning on buying a DS game from Play-Asia. Now my question is, is the site reliable? And if I order tonight, when would I expect my item to arrive? Since Raya hols are just around the corner.. Thanks in advance

Btw, I live in KL, Mont Kiara/Hartamas area..

Play-asia is totally reliable!
Have been making purchase from Play-asia since last year. ALL Item received (JPop Single, Album, Accessories) , was well packed with bubble wrap and those small white L shaped styrofoam.
That is to say, they package their item darn good.
Your DS Cartridge won't be the problem.
The only problem is it's delivery speed. If you were to choose the FREE Airmail delivery, expect delivery up to 1 month. If lucky, 2 weeks. Blame Post office. Always get my things a week after kastam check. Malaysia Pos Office not efficient. ==
But if you need urgent, you can always use FedEx or EMS Speedpost, with a fee of course. Most of the time the delivery itself cost as much as the item itself. shocking.gif shocking.gif
Your location won't really affect the speed of delivery, it's the service you use, and the efficiency of your local Post office.

Anyhow, Play-asia can be trusted. You have my personal guarantee. cool2.gif

Probably, if it reaches from Hong Kong to Malaysia early.
With Airmail, normally you can get within 2 weeks. That's because your item reached Malaysia from Hong Kong on the First week(Estimate) and pass kastam, and then Malaysia Post take it's sweet time for a week to send out your things.
If Raya, this might happen:
Same one week time to reach Malaysia from Hong Kong. Then after pass Kastam, Post Office also "Hari Raya", so delivery delay. Then extend until 2-3 weeks only send out.
But if you are lucky, You can get early lo.
Paid delivery(FedEx) confirm won't affect delivery time. Already said "PAID" liao ma. Their reputation on the line. At most also 2-4 days. tongue.gif

i've bought about 4 items from Play Asia.
1.battlefield BC
2.FF13 guidebook
3.GOW3 guidebook
4.psp accessories set

my first three transactions went smoothly.
my items arrived within a month of my purchase date.

however, my final purchase(4) never arrived.
it's been more than 2 months since i bought it, and it still has not arrived.

Play Asia had to conduct an "investigation" with the HK post office, and everything checked out fine,so it's most probably Pos Malaysia's fault.

anyway, after the 3 week investigation, Play Asia gave me a choice:

1)have them resend the package (and hold no liability if it gets lost in transit)
2)get refund in store credits

i chose option 1.
but because they wont bear the cost if it goes missing again, i also bumped up my shipping to a paid one(USD12.90,i think) and also added in a game they had on offer.

the package arrived the next day.

so if you need something quick, i'd recommend the paid option.
the free shipping may or may not arrive at your door step sweat.gif

but as far as PA's reputation is concerned, you've nothing to worry..they're very reliable smile.gif

ps.i chose free shipping for all my items, and only had an issue with my latest purchase.
and when i received the GOW3 guidebook, the post man actually made me go and get it myself from the post office...he didnt bother coming up to my office, he just left a note doh.gif

Pokemon Soulsilver biggrin.gif but now im considering just buying it from a store. I want it quick and I think it will be too expensive with the paid shipping. Plus, I dont think my mum will let me buy anything online doh.gif I've actually seen the game in a shop at OU but i dont know the price. anyone know the price of the game around here?

I can't tell exactly how long but before they introduced the digital delivery thing it took 2 days for them to send me my PSN code through email.

But as a guesstimate I would say it will take a day. nod.gif
