Just got a D2G.

I noticed there's an OTA when I checked via Phone Info. Not sure if its safe to update it lol.

Just wondering, how many of you are on Droid 2 Global?

Shall we create a thread for solely Droid 2 Global users, as the D2 and D2G are not similar in some ways (especially inside workings of it if i'm not mistaken).

lol, I'm trying to find a workaround to the battery drain without rooting the phone first.

does your phone's battery minus by the 10s?
like from 100, it goes straight to 90, then 80, so on.

I was puzzled how it goes this way.

will try that, was considering charging it 8 hours straight...

another trick that works on HTC phones, charge it till green on battery indicator, off phone, charge it again (it will show orange) until green also.
but I'm not sure if it works on motorola too.

so far morning till now trying this D2G, from full charge, on around 6.20am till just now about 7hours+ the battery left like 15%

I didnt play any games, just surf abit, call less than 3 calls, sms. tried motoblur FB. lol.. I'm starting to get a bit worried here.
