Starcraft 2 Closed Inter Malaysian Players Community Hall Tournament

Please join our 1st minor Closed Inter Community Tournament. Main purpose is to expose our community players to tournament games and encourage them to join future tournaments nationwide or worldwide. Hope everyone can make this a fun enjoyable experience while getting to know more friends here in Malaysia.

Game Prize

Champion : RM 300


Client Version

StarCraft 2 - Wings Of Liberty with the latest update/patch from Battlenet.
Region : South East Asia

Participants
Players must be a member of Malaysian Players Community Hall.

Only registered players can participate in the tournament.

Requirements
Player must have a genuine email for match schedule purposes.
Player must have a valid bank account for cash prize transfer.

Player must own a genuine StarCraft 2 - Wings Of Liberty license to play.

Scheduled playtime will be as follows:

Mon - Sun : 10:00pm onwards

If the player is not available during the scheduled timeslot, the player may reschedule with the other allocated player at another convenient timeslot and notify the organizer.


Location of Play

The tournament will held on Battlenet played from the comfort of the players home.

Match Settings
Game Type: Two vs Two
Players are not allowed to pick race once chosen during registration.
Speed: Fastest allowed

(Choose between the 3 races or random. Players cannot switch races during competition)

Closing date for registration is 10th September 2010.


Order of Carrying Out Matches

Every match is scheduled by organizer.
Match rescheduling can cancellation can only be done under the decision of the organizer.
Players absent from the game lobby (10 minutes waiting time) without any notification at the scheduled time will be consider as a defeat. Same rule applies in case all players are present in the lobby but AFK for (10 minutes without any notification).
Winner for each match is the team that completely destroyed all buildings of the opponents or once the opponents surrender the match.

Organiser will observe every match in the tournament.

Players can pause the game, but their opponents can unpause it if no valid reasons are given.

Disconnects

In case of a disconnect within 3 minutes into the game, the game will be restarted as seem fit by the observer.

In case of a disconnect more than 3 minutes into the game, the game may be restarted if both teams agree to do so.
In case the winner is obvious during disconnection, the game will not be restarted. This will be decide by the observer.
If disconnect repeats on the same player for 3 times in a row, the team will automatically be consider a defeat.


Gameplay Rules
Anything goes! Cheese, turtle, rush, harrass, massing and etc.


Cheats & Barring

The use of cheats, maphacks or third-party-tools is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate disqualification.


Disqualification

Insults and unfair or disrespectful behaviour towards the observer and other tournament participants are not tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.


Team placement and schedules will be announced soon after the registration closing date.

The event will run for FOUR WEEKS between the 12th of September and the 10th of October, and consists of 4 single elimination qualifier events - 3 weekend tournaments and 1 weekday tournament - with 8 qualifiers from each advancing to participate in a 32-player double elimination final. 2 weeks registration before each event, some overlapping with registration of other qualifiers. Any Australian, New Zealand or Southeast Asian resident playing on their own SEA server Battle.net account may participate in this tournament. Registration for the four qualifier events will open 2 weeks before the event is scheduled to run, and you can sign up via the CyberGamer events system. To register is simple, you must sign up using your CyberGamer account login on the Tournament section of the official CG events page. There will be a new events page for each Qualifier round, available 2 weeks before the competition commences. You must sign up on the tournament bracket page to successfully sign up to the tournament.
