Thinking of getting this phone. Actually I prefer wildfire over this but of course, budget constraint.

I have a few concerns tho.

One is the screen, 2.8", is it really small?

Another one is, the internal memory, is it enough for apps?
*
smile.gif Yes, I felt the screen really small........the worst point
Regarding internal memory, actually I not confirm what the actual size of the ROM, using the system info and show total ROM of 184MB ( i not sure whether it include the OS)

but once it upgrade to 2.2, it can install into SD card, not the issue anymore

for the RAM, the level control by OS automatic, most of the time is 6x - 9x free RAM, this level is normal for many device. I dint feel lag

My setting,
Setting - Location & Security Setting - Use Wireless Network (keep tick)
Setting - Location & Security Setting - Use GPS Satellite (keep tick)

Setting - Wireless & Network - Mobile Networks - Enable always on mobile (tick or untick is up to you, I untick)

Indoor, you can use google maps with wifi, lock in few second, but location not accurate
indoor without wifi, I not even success, this machine sux in indoor locking
Outdoor, usually lock within a minute depend the surrounding building (Driving in car also can)

If the "Satellite and Question" mark icon blinking at Papago, meaning its still searching satellite, yet to lock
Once it lock, Papago will sound to inform you, and icon disappear

Hey people, a new Galaxy 5 user on board here.

Did face a few problems after playing around with it......!
1. Papago took too long to lock in position..... about 30-45 mins, place on the car dashboard.

2. The screen would sometimes blank out.... restart by taking out the battery

3. The contact would not sync with my Outlook via Kies but Calendar can....

Yeap, will do so one day.
Btw, the layout of the pages of apps, can be changed right?

I like the layout on the HTC Wildfire tho.

Hows the screen quality compared to wildfire?
