Shrugs, my lappy is also new, 64-bit running windows 7, I can flash my phone but must run, Microsoft Virtual PC Windows XP Mode ( it runs a windowed version of xp while you're running win 7 ). You need to enable usb connection in xp mode, and then you can run flasher from within xp. Virtual Xp is free, but only for Win 7 home premium and higher i think. Home basic doesn't support the instalaltion from the microsoft site, but if you want tho, I have a copy of the installer file, can upload for you.

depend which way u wanna OC. If permanent flash to OC kernel, then u need to be able to run flasher, which won't run on win7 64-bit, unless you use virtualXP (refer above ). I suggest using titan's advanced kernel though, its installable from the repos, and allows you to set and change custom OC limits, and voltage values.

FCam is a very powerful open-source C++ API for easy and precise control of digital cameras. When installed the drivers, many developers can make use of this API and create many powerful app for the camera.
The default FCam app is already superb, it unlock manual focus, more control over exposure, iso sensitivity, etc. and the picture quality taken is way better than the original camera software.

There is also 2 more apps:
HDR - which allows you to capture HDR shots (e.g. take 3 pictures of different exposure and merge them).
LowLight - which allows you to capture better picture under low light conditions (e.g. take 2 picture and merge them to get better results).

N900 or Samsung Wave...there's one user selling Used Ori at 1350...is it worth it...faster tell me...I'm not sure which phone to buy argh...

Im posting this as im assuming that you are using Titan Kernel @ Overclock already...(Im using Titan kernel 40) - Accidentally upgraded the Kernel...but so far no problem running this version.

(Make Sure to Install Driver 1st before Installing the FCam App)

1st Download this (Extract and put inside your N900) - Open File Manager & Install it

Run the FCam as per normal...Do not Upgrade if Requested to...(For Now)

Tick Autosave JPGs to N900 Gallery @ File Management Tab in Settings

Be default it save a RAW file..u need a RAW viewer to view it...

Wave even cheaper lur...N900 won't lag during phone operation right? hmph...Wave's relatively low price for its hardware is quite tempting though and knowing the camera is doing great in video recording...
You know what?...I think I'll buy N900...the only problem now is woohoo...get permission from my dad see if he allows me to buy N900 and give X6 to my brother

So if Iphone is not 1 of my choices anymore, then I should get N900? and newer Nokia got enough phone memory my X6 got 300mb C drive but I think N8 will rip a hole in my pocket such that I can't buy Ipod Touch 4th gen

for me internet browsing wins hands on because i am always on the go so i need something portable. if u compare n97, x6 and 5800 the different is like practically no lag. if u oc more smooth. n900 got virtual ram for apps multi tasking.

like now i am replying from n900 connected to 3g, listening to my song bia bluetooth headset, running tinychat room, while also replying my email

Technically speaking, iOS is does not have homescreen/desktop process, no widgets, everything keep plain and simple. There's no doubt it will be a lot smoother than any smartphones out there.
But it doesn't mean it wont lag or hang at all, higher possibilities if you have jb it or depends on the apps; but as Apple has strict QC on the apps, the apps are surely more stable.

Simply put, the more freedom, the more flexibility, the more risk and problems. It'll then depends on how the user use and manage it.

As for Symbian, the devices offered always have lack of memory issue. Take for example, the N81; the free internal memory (ram?) is like what? Around 25MB? After install Nokia Maps 2.0 and N-Gage Arena, you're left with around 5MB++? Surfing few websites you'll ended up with "not enough memory" error, and you'll have to clear the cache. And overtime, something seems to be taking up the internal memory and you'll notice it gets lesser and lesser.
Plus, when you have low memory, when you blast SMS to Contact Groups, you will get phone lagging issue or worst case scenario, the whole SMS system goes crazy.
N95 have more than 100MB free as I checked with my friend, thus it's one of the least problem Nokia Symbian devices.
N97 also suffered the very same issue with internal memory, despite being a flagship device. After the later firmware update, it improves a little; I think like around 50MB++ free internal memory, which is still not much or very little.

hmm prepaid hotlink has a rm58 monthly plan.. limited to 500mb..

u need to install the extra decorders support to play rmbv files with kmplayer. not sure the default player can play it or not.
