yup, better restore back to NoDo if you have backup the restore point.

to go back to NoDo safely. u need to download these factory default ROM for HTC HD7 Asia WWE [ROM]RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.57.707.02_Radio_5.52.0 9.16_22.33a.50.10

then perform Zune update till NoDo (7392) and stop update using zune.

it's a known thing to use RSPL/HSPL created by DFT will not work for any bootloader after 3.***** Do not use DFT RSPL/HSPL with any HTC device with bootloader version higher than 3.****. many device are bricked because of this.

then you have to start from 7004 factory rom.

read back fulat post #1388 there's a link to official 7004 Rom.

Warning : perform this will wipe out everything from your device, please sync all your photos/videos to your PC, sync all your contact to live or google. no sms can be backup, any important sms text just copy paste to word save it upload to skydrive or email out back to your own inbox.

1.download the rom.
2.Power Off your device,  hold vol down button then On the power entering bootloader 3 tri color screen "Serial"
3.plugin your device to pc, "USB"
4.Run the [ROM]RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.57.707.02_Radio_5.52.0 9.16_22.33a.50.10.
5.wait till process complete.
6.back to original factory rom, sync with Zune then update your phone software untill your reach version 7392 (NoDo)
7.Flash XSPL (RSPL+HSPL)
8.Flash Custom Rom
9.End

i wanna kill myself now~ i am such a stupid which the SPL 5.* are no way to revert for now. I did once try to revert on 27th Oct and almost farked up my HD7. i tried 3-4 hrs to revert back SPL4.* so that i can do revert back to 7004 whereby i tried SPL4.* still can do factory ROM 7004 revert.

i was lucky enough i manage to power up back my HD7 after i screwed up trying revert and corrupted my bootloader and restoration.

now the second time. same thing happen. i was on luck again i guess. i manage to revert back to SPL4.*

erm i dun really understand .

ur saying u succesfull downgrade to 4.xxx spl .
but now u cant load other rom bcos u probably bricked ur bootloader ?

means u can boot ur phone normally but now cannot flash rom ?

oh well, so now we still cant find a way through 5.xxx SPL .
that sucks !

Saw star newspapers HTC add, now HD7 RM899..

1- power off the phone.

2- press and hold the camera button.

3- without releasing the camera button plug in the cable on the phone and your computer and dont release the camera button untill you will get the ''connect-to-pc'' mode (like in the picture below).

4- once you have the connect-to-pc mode release the camera button and let Windows installing the new device.

5- once installation completed remove usb cable from the computer then plug it again the phone should restart.

6- after the phone fully powering on relaunch the update again using zune software.
