I just got myself HD7.

Awesome UI but updating it is very painful.

why Zune won't make update easier rather than trial & error hoping that I hit the target.

commencing 3rd update.

Finally, after 7 hours, my phone successfully updated to Mango.

I'm liking on what they've done with the updates especially Skydrive integration. No more emailing to myself. thumbup.gif

Internal memory 32GB checked, official Mango 7720 checked, dev-unlocked checked, latest HTC driver update checked, HTC hub updating at big tile checked. HTC connect media working checked. now get ready to rock!

its really the HTC driver making all the trouble on the apps. now it work like a champ!

yes. do make use of the skydrive. its very useful for students and working adults. do take note what file format sky drive can support and what can not. also make sure each files size do not over 25MB. u can upload only files smaller than 25MB.

25mb only? I swear I saw 100mb limit per file there. File stop uploading at 25mb? blink.gif

I know hotmail attachment limit is 25mb.

ops. its 100MB. my mistake. :-p

no worries.

It would be awesome if they include bluetooth file transfer after download from skydrive (which they didn't, unfortunately) to transfer large docs to client rather than either of us carry a notebook & thumbdrive at a meeting. It's certainly a bonus.

I knew Brightstar is the official distro for Blackberry.

I only know recently that they too distro HTC few days ago when I bought this phone.

Sometime warranty thing can be confusing when people overlooked the label stickers in the phone.

For instance Blackberry official distro are Brightstar & I-Samart, Sony Ericsson are T-Choice & Midlands. Samsung back then used to be FMG , as well as Brightstar before Samsung themselves became own distro, thus SME.

Just ordered. Appears to be good value for money. I bought a 1500 mAH battery from lelong for more than RM100 and it doesn't perform any better than the original HD7 battery.

Awesome. Let us know how it performs when it arrives. smile.gif

A HTC shop at Nilai Tesco. Under Unique Phone Telecommunication.

I also weird that it charge for upgrade since it was free. By the way they are not under SIS so is under normal shop.

Normal Shop they charge you for that. If went back to service center I think is free to upgrade. Must wait until my phone and see how.

You did the right thing by not giving in to their scam.

The updating part is a little bit tricky but is all legit & free by following the exact steps in other thread.
