QUOTE(monsh @ Mar 17 2011, 05:14 PM) every component has different efficiency . doesn't mean same hardware will give u exact same result . it'll differ in a way or another . but it's nice to have same hardware cause then u'll have the full guide for doing it . same hardware, easier to follow... ... btw, u got pm.... dunno liao . didnt stress it also die . normal la its electronic stuff . it can die anytime it wants . d GC doesnt indicate any failure , the LED indicator all green but no display and at post also report no GC detected . tested other PCI-E lane still d same . so i assume its dead . waiting for colabear98 hoping he could lend me a GC for awhile to confirm it .

Ahahaha i dunno y . yeah electronic stuff mostly bout luck only . if its meant to live, it'll live for the next few years . else, it can even live for 2 hours only .
ahahaha macam GOOD je . not that good la . just to do comparison on linear programming vs parallel programming

good enough though . can try tighten the ram timing or move to 4.2ghz
and do more stress testing . 100 run linX or 12 hours prime ^^,

hi im having a weird temp issue with my rig
i7-950 CM V6GT Asus Sabertooth X58 Kingston hyperx C9 6gb CM GTX 750 PSU HAF 932 Case Sapphire 6870 GPU
when it is not oc'ed, the temp is about 46 Celcius with no load, while running prime 95 it goes up to 70 Celcius. I tried OCing it to 4ghz and the temp went up to 87 degrees celcius while running prime95.. I've cleaned the V6GT and reapplied the thermal paste properly but the temp is still the same.. I dont think its because of the case.. room temp is about 30 celcius..

dude, its logical since ur using air cooler and that cm v6gt is not that good
us WC users also experience up to 80C ++ during load for 4.2 - 4.4 ghz .
