After reading a lot of materials/reviews on speakers and things related (avr, cables, interconnect etc), I am really quite boggled. Choosing a flat display was quite straight forward, I mean i read the reviews, went to the shop and pretty much can view the differences between lcd,led and plasma, of course after checking on the sources, input and such.
But how did you guys chose your speaker? I went for an audition and theres so many factor thats hard to replicate to get the same result. For example, the shop has different amp, different cable and not to mention the audition room is prepped up. Well, if you have the money, you can replicate everything
Some people mentioned that good speaker will give good sound regardless of HT and music. and of course the product offering within the price bracket. But buying it is one thing, you hear it good in the audition room, but will it sound good in your living hall? (my case that is- dont have dedicated room).
my ear/sound quality base is trusty 7-year aego2. currently doing front speaker in my set up...lol.
