I want to see the battle uploaded on youtube, can you record the thing using a camera and post?

I only plan to transfer the ones that I need and those that feel important to me, like my Feraligatr starter. Dittos of different natures and IV inherit-ers.

I just managed to beat the Normal gym leader using luck, the Low Kick from my Timburr crit' the last pokemon in one hit.



I take extreme care of my DS and the gamecard. After playing, I'll put them inside a big, clean plastic Tupperware, to make sure that it's dust free and so that mosquitoes don't shit on them. I hate mosquitoes.

Damn nice, wild Pokemons with such IV set is really rare. So now the Gen 5 Synchronizer is Munna...hmm

If only I have my old competitive team with me now, I have so much trouble with the gym leaders with my under-leveled Pokemons.

I can't use wifi now after my computer was formatted, I forgot how to set up.

I was used to trade in Serebii, I feel safer there.

Make sure you question them first, "Is the Pokemon legit?" "Is it hacked or Pokesaved?" I don't trust people so easily, too many cheaters around.

Yea, I usually ask for common stuff, no shinies or legendaries or perfect IV stuff.

The wifi events are gone... Take good care of your game cards and DS man.

Add: If both parents have very high Individual Values, (IV), the probability of passing down the good IVs will increase. Refer to Smogon IV chart. IV is the most important thing in Pokemon breeding.

Place it's caught and date. If possible, check its IV too. It's not easy, that's why I won't trade for any rare Pokemons.

And yeah, most of them are clones, I hate that too. Mines must be 100% legit, clone is not legit for my standard.

I chose Oshawott, named her Mijumaru, the original Japanese name. I won't let her evolve, never.., maybe that's why I'm having trouble with battles.

I'm not used to the name change of the 1st gym leader, Cilan, wtf.

My female Tyranitar is named "Kit-Kat", because it likes to use Crunch. I've seen some funny names on youtube, like "Solid Penis" for Steelix, "Cawk" for a parrot.

2nd gym is very hard. After beating the first dog Pokemon, switch to the rock Pokemon to take the Retaliate, and then use Sand-Attack, tips from Marriland walkthrough.

Jolly is often used to outspeed the same Pokemon with the same speed and EV. It depends on your preference. Speed can determine who will get KOed first in competitive wifi battles. Refer to Smogon. Mixed attacker will use either Naive or Hasty. Special Attacker will be Modest or Timid.

I would prefer an Adamant, Sword Dance Samurott instead, EV 252 HP, 252 Atk. I think its Special set is inferior to the Physical one.

I just can't stick to the few perfect Pokemons that I already have, after getting a strong Pokemon after countless hours of soft-resetting, I later dream on breeding another one...

What you need is a parent with Modest nature, and make it hold Everstone. And you don't need to breed a whole box of babies, do you know about soft-reset breeding? And you need the specific Power Item to pass down the IV you want. Catch lots of Dittos, a box full of them, that way, you can breed any nature you want EASILY. So the ingredients, A box full of Dittos, and an Everstone!

When you catch lots of Dittos, you will have all sorts of Natures, from which you can select for breeding the nature you want. And, you may even encounter some with perfect IV, those will be used for breeding perfect IV. Breeding competitively can be very complex.

Everstone will give 50% of chance to pass down the desired Nature.

About soft-reset breeding, this is what we do in Gen 4(Platinum, DP, HGSS). I'm not sure if it's still the same in Gen 5 since I've not bred anything yet in BW.
1) Put the parents with the respective items together in Daycare, (Everstone, Power Items like Power Anklet, Power Weight, ect.)

2) Wait for phone call, then SAVE near the Daycare man, after you have saved, receive the egg and hatch it!

3) Check the Nature, Gender and Ability. These 3 characteristics will remain after you have saved before receiving the egg!

4) If it's not any of the 3 characteristics you want, you can either keep the baby or soft-reset(L+R+START+SELECT), then reject the egg and wait for another phone call. Repeat this until you get the desired Nature, Gender and Ability.

5) After you have hatched the egg with all the characteristics you want, it's time to go for IV! This is when you soft-reset mindlessly until you get a Pokemon with OUTSTANDING ability. Again, all the 3 characteristics will remain, the only thing that will change is the IV. You can check it in-game by talking to an IV guy. He's in Nimbasa City, Gear Station, according to Serebii.net. In HGSS, the IV guy is in Battle Tower.

Anyway, you need some Pokemons with 31 IV first before going for the IV breeding. Everstone will get the nature you want pretty easily. So, the main point is to save in front of the Daycare man before receiving the egg. I feel bad to hatch countless numbers of the same Pokemons and put them to sleep in the PC. That's evil!

Edit: put a Pokemon with Flame Body ability in your party to half the hatching steps, Pokemons like Slugma. Breeding IV requires luck when hunting for Dittos. That sucks. Alternatively, you can ask for Pokemons with 31 IV in the stats that you want through trades, it doesn't matter if it's male or female. Just don't ask for too unreal ones, those might be hacked or clones.

IV is the gene of the Pokemon, it's born with. Only EV can be trained.

What Pokemons do you use? I need to beat them fast so that I can transfer my Gen 4 team, but my Pokemons are under-leveled, only 3 are useable. Oshawott, LV30+, Simisear, LV30+, Swoobat, LV20+. The Swoobat acts as a supporter, providing paralysis and screen support.
