Last pokemon I play with a console, which is my GBA is Fire Red. That was about 2 years back. Then after my GBA died, I opt playing it using emulator. But it seems that the emulator for DS is not completely perfect till now. and I just stop playing it...

after read what you guys write here, I'm thinking bout buying a console. So, what do you guys suggest? and what game should I play first. The only game I play with my past GB is pokemon. I never play any other game in the nintendo platform.

Yes, not everyone is rich, I didn't even play GBA Pokemons back then because of money problem.

well u can find 2nd hand dslite for maybe around 300
and pokemon heartgold or soulsilver for rm150 and pokemon platinum for rm130 if u buy it from kyoyagami

rm500 is enough to buy a new ndsl plus something u need to play the *ahem* game... so it is enough for u to start play back pokemon...

Whats the diff between normal DS and DSi? I'm noob here...

DS Lite has GBA Slot while DSi doesn't, furthermore certain games like Pokemon Black and White is a DSi Enchanced Game meaning it's playable on any DS Lite on any region but since it's a DSi Enhanced Game it only work with the same region where the DSi comes from example like the current black and white are from Japan, hence it only works with only a DSi from Japan and not USA while it can work with any DS Lite from any region. And DSi has cameras while DS Lite does not.

dslite ftw..it has longer battery life tha dsi anyway
