this time i got a different problem.

i started the download (0% - 1%) using SG VPN (same method we have been discussing).

then i continue from 1% until 99% using MY IP.

ok, at 99% i stopped and use SG VPN again.
the download resumed from 98% (and not 99% - but what the heck).

so far, looks good. But until 99% i got kicked out of XBOX Live. (pop up message : disconnected from xbox live)

I tried 5 times already, on and off, from 9pm last night until now.

every single try i ended up kicked out by xbox live at 99% (after about 13MB downloaded, roughly 30 minutes from 98%). The VPN thing is still working fine, as i can immediately reconnect to xbox live after being kicked out. So i think its not a VPN limit issue (I am using its free service)

after reconnection, the download starts at 98% again.

its damn painful to do this.. that 2% is downloading at 8KB/s

well it seems like MS had a new prevention system, your current problem is like my COD:Black OPS Zombie Map DLC problem. i used the code, i did the samething as u, downloaded 99%, it kicks you out of Xbox Live, then it revert like 2-3%. until now i didnt get my Zombie Map DLC.

so i guess they found away to know that we run on VPN now or something. but so far GH did successfully downloaded the Map for 2 customer with a Paid VPN service (Freedom most expansive package), GH helped me it didnt work on mine so i think those 2 are really lucky? tried switching box, tried with my box tried every way they could like for 1-2 days, still same result.

hmm what happens if you cant get the last 2%? would you have wasted your 800ms points? or did you try downloading the Trial first, then only use VPN to purchase it? or you purchased it then only you start downloading?

But i already bought 1600 points ready for this...

In case anyone interested, bought this through VPN by copying the completed file from another box to my box. Then unlocking from the trial itself therefore didn't need to download the 1gb file.

Hey that's a really good idea. Too bad i have no friends who play this locally (Penang).

hmm can the file be copied to removable drive? then rar the whole removable drive content & upload to the net? haha. then we reverse it following this way?

well i didnt try any of this b4, just my 2cent haha

or, sell us a 2gb pendrive with this content inside, if the content cant be copied using PC.

I downloaded the demo from internet, but problem is that i cannot transfer it to XBOX HDD.

i actually requested marauderz to copy to flash drive and sell the pen drive to me.

i guess the right way to do it is : marauderz needs to have a demo version of it in his XBOX HDD, then he format a pen drive to XBOX format, and copy the demo to the pen drive. then sell to us la.

problem is i think marauderz already activated the full version.. no longer is a demo.

If u guys think when I copy to u its the full version, then you are not familiar with how Live licensing works. Rest assured whatever I copy to you can be activated by you.

Anyway, case West felt short. I think most likely because you have to find the side quest yourself, no one will point them out to you.

well what i really mean it was the Trial file, then we purchase it our self. but i think its too late, since you already activated it already.

anyway we should not be doing this if MS had not throw in an region lock on it >.>

Like I said, what I will give you is the trial file, that's just how the marketplace works. Region lock is decided by content owner not Microsoft. So if you want to blame anyone, blame capcom

dem why when I buy fallout NV dlc-dead money,,,it stated the game region is not available on ur console region,,,what that mean,,,mine register under singapore huhuhu

it means without a SG IP you cant buy the DLC? well i didnt try Fallout Vegas yet, so im not sure.

suddenly i just felt the fear of buying DLC, buy with SG IP & cant finish download the file how? why is DLC region lock getting more frequent now?
