After watching the E3 Stage demo, I couldnt help but feeling like falling in love with the series again. No more vs. blablabla shit. wub.gif Back to its

roots. Basically, the game is trying to emulate MKII, IMHO, the most successful in its series. But by adding new features like the x-ray vision attack

thingy, this just seems way too cool to be ignored. rclxms.gif 2011 will be the re-birth of Mortal Kombat franchise! (plus the rumored movie)

For those who have yet to watch the trailer to rumored next MK movie. Kind of cheesy and kind of a bit out of place few of the characters there. But

overall seems to have darker theme than previous films. cool2.gif

Yeah but I guess having a "poor" storyline is better than having nothing at all. At least you got to see the "endings" after each Arcade / Story Mode.

tongue.gif But for me, it is one of the more unique games, perhaps due to its violent nature, along with Killer Instinct (We already got TEKKEN vs. SF, why

not MK vs Killer Instinct, that would awesome!) wub.gif

Plus during Megadrive/Genesis and SNES era, they are very competitive, perhaps like today's X360 and PS3. So MK2 for each console version has

slightly difference (and I am not talking about graphics performances yawn.gif ). MD version was for me, slightly slower and more gore and SNES version

was probably true to arcade version/faster. #memories tongue.gif

Second that. But anyhow, we are not comparing it with other fighting games because it is not your typical fighting games. It's Mortal Kombat!

On side note, you guys know that Street Fighter vs Tekken will come out soon or later. My dream is to have something like Mortal Kombat vs Killer

Instinct drool.gif For those who have played both games, I think it would be a great idea. Considering now that both games have almost the same

fighting mechanic (at that time) and killer finishing, plus ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA (echo) combos. brows.gif It would sound better than MK vs DC anytime. rolleyes.gif

Finally got the game after months of delaying myself from buying it! Love the story mode! Very creative indeed. Great reboot for the franchise
