I noticed that Persona does consume the coolant quite a bit before each servicing intervals. My younger bro's 08 model is also like this.

My ex MyVi is not. I rarely top up the coolant even after a year.
*
its normal....mine also, at first i thought got leaking..end up nothing and i heard people say campro is quite a hot engine compare to others so should be the reason coolant reduce abit....

Regarding this fuel indicator , i think it works like this .. before the remaining mileage reaches some point i think its about 55km(remaining) the
yellow fuel indicator will light up , telling u is low on fuel ... then the remaining mileage will continue to run until 50km(remaining), then that mileage itself will
continuous blink until a point where the 50km on the screen turn = ---- but from what I did before is that it still can go further for like another 40+ km which
i drove before , max i dunno  tongue.gif
*
no problem driving it over 50km once warning light on... a few times i drive with warning light on, still can do around additional nearly to 60-70km++ where light on around 380km and i continue drove till close to 450km+ with city and highway driving around 120-160km... and once i pump RM50 petrol with current RM1.85, the fuel gauge only point slightly more than half tank.... laugh.gif

u think i run 120km/h like intial D meh, those corner are no sharp, the sharp i try b4 is on the sunway ramp down b4 the sunway toll, around 80-90km/h already can feel the tyre out of grip going to lose out
*
change to better tires like pp2,ps3,s-drive,or potenza, so on...with 50/55series and alignment slighter negative camber (open)...then can sapu and even more stable.....stock tires cc-1,ntc5,silverstone are meant for normal use and its 60series...

Added on September 17, 2010, 9:33 pmbtw just some information sharing....

my bro's newly own 2nd hand Persona H line Auto 08 model non IAFM.... i noticed that the FC is stated 11 per 100km as compared to my persona 09 IAFM Auto at 7.8 per 100KM. That is a huge difference!

Are those non IAFM version really suck far more fuel than its upgraded versions?
*
mine 07 auto around 8.2/100km... smile.gif

Part prices only:-  Rr.Motor RH  (RM 106.50)
                          Rr. Regulator RH (RM 83.65)

If warranty expired, try to DIY yourself.  But removing the window glass can be quite tricky.

thanks so much.... smile.gif

dunno whether our persona also got that 'ticking time bomb' spring  whistling.gif  but i saw one of the gen2 member here got posted picture where his/her airbag suddenly burst out while driving  sweat.gif  lucky he/she was driving slowly and the traffic wasn't busy, or else...

-edit-

yay, got the link with pictures:

i think persona might have the same problem... because as i know the steering radio button got problem after few months where when we press, the button not responding or let say the volume up button become mute and so on... and also im not sure whether this affect the earlier batches as for me, there is rubbing sound whenever i turn the steering.....fix but the same...so just ignore it..la... sweat.gif

anyone hv the knowledge on changing the radiator coolant by self? as always travel long way the coolant sumtimes decrease in amount. but than the most appropriate ratio of coolant and water is 50:50. if keep add water scare it will cause rust in the radiator..so anyone would like share???
*
i diy the coolant myself.....use caltex long life coolant...and the coolant decrease is normal..nothing to be worry about... i usually use 1liter of coolant and the remaining is "drinking water"...so far so good 3years, change twice, 70000km.... icon_rolleyes.gif

60% highway 40% city.
I look at the meter.
But I always drive until it blink then only I go pump up full tank. I only pump Caltex RON95.
Initially when I collect my car was 9.3
Then slowly it drop to 9.1
Then after 1st time service it drop to 8.8
And now it drop to 8.7

A friend told me new car is like that, after 5k & 10k service, it will drop further. Not sure how true is that?

I was at Batu Cave when the petrol indicator lighted up.
Still, I can drive via KL, Federal Highway until back USJ 16 Caltex Petrol station then only it started to blink.
*
yes...mine now 70000km can 400km for 50/50 driving...auto..and the meter panel showing 8.1km/l..using esso 95..as for the warning light, i can drive additional 50-70km..so no worries of running out of fuel...
