guys,

anybody know what inside our persona door...
i'm thinking to install sound proofing inside but im afraid..
the door machanism is alike waja... which really hard to open unless u really have a patience
the window mechanism attach together the plastic cover that cover nearly whole door..
if like wira, so quite easy to install sound proofing...
if somebody already open before and have a picture pls share...

do you think aftermarket ground is must have for new PE?

i planning to put insulfex to our belove persona elegeance hood...
is it make any difference?

also thinking to put insulfex at firewall... not sure any difference...

but yesterday already diy placing stp bitumen at door metal.. feel better with better door closing and sound intrusion
when others vehicle passing by...
and notice something.. there are original sound proofing inside persona door... but look hard and low quality..

Added on September 11, 2010, 11:02 ami found rattling sound from below pic... any idea how to solve it diy .. quite annoying as it can beat my radio speaker sound setting at 15... even at higher speed, the sound really obvious

Added on September 13, 2010, 8:30 pmjust finish soundproofing my wheel arch...
using insulfex for wheel arch (plactic cover) and stp bitumen for fender (add few only around >25%.. do not waste to put more)

result...
feel tyre noise reduce slightly.... need to try at highway to see any improvement..
but testing at my area with rough tar road... feel better than before..
even test with yellow line.. the 'thud' sound heard quite far compare before (still can't beat perdana 1st model.. )

found something interesting bout our persona which how they can get better nvh.. notice below car and wheel arch already paint with tar resulting quiet ride... im wasting money to buy 2 cans 3m undercoatin...

i dont think our PE can be describe as 'gas guzzler'...
its consider within range for 1.6l car...
maybe u refer to old persona without IAFM which i cant comment here...

all persona got lotus handling but of course high line got better handling as it included ABS and EBD which very useful
for hard braking

if u get >RM3k stable per month
no guarantor needed... just show pay slip or bank acc for confirmation...

if not... guarantor needed.. no need high salary one but 1/3 from the car monthly payment..
or for gomen... not follow that order

today i did my 10k service at bukit serdang SC..
there are news that I believe should be shared here (may be already highlighted)...

the annoying 'buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz' sound from our dashboard may be solved with ecu reprogramming/update
which only the big SC can do like COE, puchong

is it true????

ori sport rim, we still need that O ring if change to new sport rim unless its fully compatible with persona...
as my experience before during changing my old waja ori sport rim to light weight rim..
its need o ring to make sure the sport rim properly fit/no gap that may result vibration during high speed

i also already bought VS and GC from Eric Teoh
already install n only notice that my aircond compressor kicking not harder as before..
others... not sure got improvement.. light dim during aircond kick in still there...
