QUOTE(haur @ Nov 14 2010, 12:00 AM) send to SC there n complaint kaw kaw lar as an owner of persona for more than 1mth, me my biggest problem will be d braking is so damn weak, i cant perform a sudden brake if d car in front of me stops too fast. And d whole car is like "sampan" will easily get dizzy if drives too fast at corner(suspect d absorber kong ady send to SC tmr for further inspections. Do u guys notice when u try to pump ur car to "full",but ur fuel gauge seems like stucking at 3/4 and not going up?
This is the main CULPRIT! (Fuel Pump) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This problem almost exists to all the persona, if u r the lucky one then go and get it changed immediately!! This post has been edited by ahshuy: Nov 17 2010, 05:11 AM |

QUOTE(khtee @ Nov 17 2010, 08:26 AM) What do u mean it is stucked at 3/4 ? meaning at the meter it only reach the 3 section ..cant go up anymore? yeap, ur fuel gauge will not reach 'full bar' even u pump it till d petrol leaks out.. the reason is d fuel pump could not link properly to the fuel meter due Btw what am i suppose to spot ya from the picture? sorry noob in this area to different vendors... BTW does anyone know where to check d warranty coverage ya? To what extend the changes of part will violate d warranty? The SC crew told me that if i change d brake pad at other workshop then i cannot claim any warranty for brakes ady. and how could a brake pad will affect the whole braking system huh? |

QUOTE(khtee @ Nov 17 2010, 10:35 PM) would the warantty be the same as the extended waranty programme? tat's the only thing i could find.. on the net seriously stupid dumbf**k proton..... When i encountered d brake pad got squishing sounds , i immediately sent my car to SC there and get it checked. Then the crew told me that the brake pad is not original 1, then they introduced me Bosch Brake Pad for RM350!!! I was like WTF i could get a MUCH better brake pad with MUCH lower price. So then i asked them whether can replace it at other workshop because brake pad is considered "wear & tear" item and should be able to change it at other workshop without violate d warranty. Guess what? they tried to brainwash me and telling me that "d brake pads will affect d whole braking system hence wll dmg d brake in long term, and indirectly will dmg brake pump and blah blah(all kind of nonsense)" . I really doubt that a pair of Brake Pad could spoil d whole braking system so EASILY. |

QUOTE(khtee @ Nov 17 2010, 10:55 PM) somehow i think the proton service people they themselves are not so familiar with the waranty.. jsut to be at the safe side ... they would just say .... will void.... if they say wont void.. and u do.. then end up management say void.. they die.... so "WILL VOID" is always the easier answer yeah whenever i argue with them they surely say "ini procedure la bang, kami tak boleh buat apa pun..." I wonder , anyone got the detailed written document on the warantty? so we can use it as reference indispute (or when we wanna get some stuff replaced outside) org... I ended up changing my brake pad secretly at other workshop... for only RM108... and d sounds disappear ever since ... |

QUOTE(jasontantenghuat @ Nov 22 2010, 12:25 AM) That's what happened to me last year when I was on the way to Kampar. There's this stretch were there's only 2 lanes instead of the usual 3. if i were u i will horn till death and show my desperate face to 'em, i have seen a camry 2.4v driving at 20km/h, i glare at him d moment i overtake him...Was driving about 150kmh on the right when this fella decided to switch lanes. I manage to brake in time. And the speed he was driving... 80kmh Best part... he continued driving at 80kmh. ON THE RIGHT LANE!!! |
